Honey grabbed Cyn's wrist, scowling at DJ. "As much as I'd rather ignore her. Let's go see what she wants." She suggested begrudgingly, stomping in the DJ's direction without waiting for her bestfriend to agree.
"We ain't know that was you sitting here. The windows tinted and everything. You literally scared the hell out of us!"
DJ's expression was impassive as she regarded Honey in front of her, however her dark brown eyes flickered with annoyance at her dramatics. "Ain't seem like that to me."
"We were though." Honey argued, her voice held underlying anger. "This car was just sitting there in the darkness. Speaking of that, how did you know where we were? Actually, why are you even here?" Leave to DJ to give my bestfriend and I, a whole heart attack. Did it cross her mind to make it obvious it was her by maybe.. I don't know? Coming closer and exiting the car?
Honey was so agitated that she didn't realize she had gotten all in DJ's personal space until she lifted a brow in question. Quickly, she took a couple of hasty steps back until she bumped against Cyn behind her.
"You heard her. Why are you here?" Cyn interjected harshly, with a hard edge to her tone.
DJ's features held traces of anger as she glared at Cyn. "Cause Angel asked me to be. She said y'all was somewhere around here and needed a ride. Fuck it, I can leave both of y'all asses here. What's it gone be?" Her voice was cold, probably because of the way Cyn spoke to her.
Cyn stared at DJ long and hard, her expression unreadable before she uttered out. "Oh."
Honey thought over what she said and it made sense. No matter how much of a bitch DJ was. Honey didn't get any weirdo vibes from her. She trusted Angel's judgement with choosing someone to pick them up. "Uh, you can take us home.."
"Can y'all get the fuck in the car? I got somewhere to be." DJ snapped, impatiently as she shot daggers at the two girls still standing there.
Cyn gave her a death glare in return. "And to think I was just going to apologize. Never mind, it's still fuck you nigga."
Honey placed her hand on Cyn's arm. "Girl, we already had a long night. So let's go." She began walking towards DJ's car with her bestfriend not too far behind and opened the door, sliding inside the backseat.
Honey had never been inside a car like this before and it was really nice on the inside. The light brown leather was cool against her clammy skin and the interior was alight with blue lights. A slight smell of marijuana lingered in the air and she briefly wondered if that was the reason DJ was sitting here all this time.
DJ entered the car shortly after, slamming the door behind her. Honey flinched at the sudden noise and pulled the seatbelt across her chest, fastening it. DJ started up the car, lighting up the joint resting in the cup holder and took a drag. Lord, if you love me please don't let us get pulled over. I just needed a ride home.
Honey reverted her attention on Cyn, who hasn't said a word since they've been in car. "Hey Cyn. You ok?"
Cyn looked exhausted as she slumped in the seats, closing her eyes momentarily. "Yes, I'm okay girl. Are you?"
