As country we should be ready to defend our country and not be the world's policemen. We as a nation should not be scared of one religion or area because a few people/group caused some destruction. Us, as Americans, should not start wars with other countries because of one group. The group will become more destructive and be a danger to the civilians in the country. We will intervene if the terrorism gets out of Control in the country. We should focus more on the terrorism going on in the country. We hope Mr. Samuel L.Jackson gets elected and make sure all countries are safe but also focusing a lot on America to make sure everyone is safe.
As one of the largest countries in the world, there is no debate that we must be ready to defend ourselves from those who wish to harm us, but we are not the world's policeman and we cannot continue to act like we are. With all of the social and economical problems that we face within our borders, we must focus on righting our own country before we can even think about righting another. Our involvement in the middle east has cost thousands of lives of us soldiers alone, not to mention the millions of civilian casualties.
Policing the world does not mean we leave our nation defenseless and weak. We must also remember who our enemies are, and more importantly, who they are not. We can not continue turning away members of the muslim faith simply because a group of radical extremists use a twisted sense of an otherwise peaceful religion to justify hurt and killing millions. We must realise that not all muslims are ISIS and not all members of ISIS are muslim. Only when we involve all Americans in our fight to create a better and safer world, can we truly be a strong nation once again.
