The next day, Marvin had set himself to work and cleaned up Anti's old room faster than even he thought he would. Really there wasn't much to clean since there wasn't much in the room to begin with. He figured though that once they brought over some of his stuff from the apartment, it would look more full.
The magician didn't know what to make of the last few days. He had thought Anti wasn't so complicated. Just a psychotic asshole that loved to torture and hurt people. But seeing such emotion in his eyes when he was drugged and now knowing the truth of what really happened that Halloween night, things were different. Anti may be covering up his core pain now but they weren't stupid. Everyone could see he was hurting on the inside no matter how much he tried to disguise it.
And it's not like Anti was wrong. Chase and Henrik did fuck up and got off easy but Marvin wasn't clean himself. He had done wrong as well and got off too easily. That's why he wore the mask all the time. To hide his shame.
When he was done in Anti's room, he set off to find Jackie. Now came the fun part of emptying Anti's apartment of all the things he'll need during his stay to recover.
When he found Jackie, he was in the kitchen snacking on some fruit, "Oh hey!" Jackie noticed him walk in, "You finish cleaning up there already?"
Marvin shrugged, "Wasn't much to clean anyways. I didn't realize it was that empty up there."
Jackie hummed, "Well we can fix that when we get back with Anti's stuff where's he's been staying. Although there isn't much there either."
Without another word, Marvin came up to him and teleported them to Anti's small apartment. With a sigh, Jackie opened the door to go in, "Should we just pile the necessary things together so we'll only have to make one trip?"
The magician didn't seem concerned, "I suppose but if we miss anything, we can come back. It's not problem. You were right. There isn't much in his living room."
They looked around and gathered together things like his computer and phone and a chair that he could keep in his room. They then moved into his kitchen to find just a couple of plates and one fork and spoon. There were no knives.
"Sean must have been worried about giving him knives here." Jackie bit his lip, "But I don't think there's anything to take with us from the kitchen. Let's go to his bedroom."
They entered the bedroom and was just as disappointed. In his closet were a few of the clothes he had recently bought at the mall and one pair of his old black jeans and a black shirt as well as one pair of worn shoes.
"My lord, this is depressing" Marvin commented, "But I suppose if he didn't need to go out anywhere, he would need much"
Jackie just sighed as he searched his dresser but suddenly found a bunch of loose papers, "What the?"
He looked through them and lightly chuckled.
Marvin came over to see what he was laughing about, "What is it?"
"Seems the little feral likes to draw. Must have gotten a lot of inspiration from artists online. The fans always loved drawing him the most"
Marvin nodded, looking through some of them as well, "He's quite good. But we shouldn't bring back all this loose paper. He'd probably hate us for it, knowing him."
"We could get him a sketch book."
He hummed.
They continued looking through things until suddenly things just got worse. They found Anti's knives. He had three knives, to be exact. One was a kitchen knife, another was a pocket knife and the last one was a serrated steak knife. They all had blood on them. What was worse was they they had found them in the bathroom drawer as if to keep them hidden. He didn't want anyone to know about them.
