a loud thud from outside woke kj up from her sleep. she had a pounding headache from last night and could only remember small snippets of the night before. she reached for her phone that laid on the floor to check the time.

9:44am

FUCK.
she was late. she was never late. she jumped out of bed in search of her clothes but soon realized she was not in her room. she turned to the bed where the boy from last night laid.

of course the night she slept with someone was the day she's late. she scrambled to look for her shirt but only had the luck to find her pants. she opened the closet door of the boys room and grabbed a black tee shirt. it was a little big but she simply tied a knot on the front.

biggie's face was plastered on the shirt with his name. i mean it looked like something she'd wear on a normal day. no one would know it wasn't hers, well trinity would. trin always knew.

kj slipped her heels on her feet and headed down the stairs. she heard noise coming from the kitchen but avoided turning her head that way, as all she wanted to do was leave.

"good morning" a sweet, perky voice said as kj reached the bottom.

kennedy turned around to see a white, long haired blonde girl in the kitchen. she held a bowl of batter in one hand while keeping a close eye on the waffle maker near her.

"good morning and goodbye" kj said faking a small smile.

"wait, do you want some waffles before you go?" she asked.

kj wanted to leave as soon as possible but she was starving. she thought about it for a second before taking a seat at the tall chairs along the counter.

"so which one of the boys are you here with?" the girl asked.

"can't remember the name actually" kj giggled.

"it's okay there's 5 boys who live here, that's why i asked. but i mean obviously you didn't come home with austin so i was tryna narrow it down so i can tease them" the girl who remained nameless said.

"well i appreciate the food but i seriously have to go now, also i borrowed this shirt from the boy upstairs so if you could let him know i'll mail it back that would be awesome" kj smiled before before running out.

by the time she made it to the studio, kids were already running around in between classes and tutor sessions.

"well if it isn't our fearless leader" trinity teased.

"you're the one who forced me out last night so don't come at me" kj rolled her eyes.

"bitch no one forced you to go home with anyone and you still did that"

kj walked up to her office and began running through her schedule. it was pretty busy for a thursday but what else could she do.

in order for the organization to make money, she occasionally had to rent it out. most of the time it was for music video shoots, other times just rehearsals for big dance companies.

kj's assistant walked into her office setting a stack of folders in front of her.

"the group that's coming in today has some request for their shoot that they'll be having the next couple of days. they requested studio 2b for rehersal and then the johnson room for the shoot" alice said.

"what time are they getting here today?"

"3 in the afternoon, until 7" alice answered.

"great, just make sure we get their dinner order before you leave so we can put that order in please" kj directed.

as she sat in her office reviewing the contracts she couldn't help but think about the night she had just had. it was so fun. that's the only way to describe it. she wanted nothing to do with nick, it was just an overall good vibe.

her phone rang snapping her out of her mind. she looked at the phone and noticed it was just a call from her assistant who sat outside her office doors.

"yes alice?" kj answered.

"the group for the johnson hall is here, would you like me to get trinity to give them a tour or will you be doing that?" she asked.

"i guess i can do it since trin is running that ballet class downstairs" kj sighed.

kj grabbed the folder she had been handed earlier and walked out of her office to find five boys sitting in her lobby.

"hello i'm kj, nice to meet all of yo–" she stopped in the middle of her sentence as she came across a familiar face.

"nice shirt" the boy smiled.

"yo nick, ain't you got a biggie shirt just like that?" the tall lights kin boy with dreads asked.

fuck.
