"Alright, class." Mr. Copperbottom gulped down the last drop of his coffee before grabbing his bag. "The session is almost over, but I want to congratulate Liam for answering almost every question about Greek rituals. Tell me once again where you got all your information".

Liam shrugged, his fingers entwined on the table. "I watch a lot of movies. It's easier to memorize."

Somehow, I couldn't take my eyes off his black gloves. It had an intricate design of a white bow on the left hand. Why does he even wear gloves?

"Excellent job Liam. Especially for a new student. I'm sure Penelope won't suffer much in teaching you our past topics."

"She'll be very flexible with it." Liam gave an innocent smile. Something about his sentence seemed wrong.

Mr. Copperbottom, as usual, was very blind to it. He walked out of the class right before the bell rang for lunch. There was a huge shuffle as students rose from their seats and trudged out for a break.

"What did you mean by that?" I snapped at Liam.

He turned to me, his green eyes now on display. I involuntarily shivered and my pulse quickened. What just happened?
