     * A little over two months has passed. Christmas break has happened it's now about the end of January.(I couldn't think of anything to write about for Christmas break; just imagine a heart warming trip back home with your sweet baby boy. :)*

All classes had ended, dinner had begun. While everyone was feasting on the monstrous amount of food in front of them, the doors to the great hall burst open. Professor Quirrell came running in almost completely out of breath. He stopped for a moment and yelled at the top of his lungs, grabbing anyone's, who wasn't already looking at him, attention.

" TROLL IN THE DUNGEON." With that, he fainted right in the middle of the hall. The children began to panic, everyone screaming about what to do. The commotion was complete and utter bedlam. Finally Dumbledore stepped up to his podium.

" SILENCE!" All of the noise stopped. " Prefects, please see to it that your house returns to their dorms safely and soundly." Prefects immediately stood up and ushered their house out of the hall. Slytherin students not wanting to go to the dungeon hesitated. Dumbledore then turned to Severus. " Please see that your house can get to the common room without a troll in their path."

" Yes, Sir." He went to the lost Slytherin students and guided them out. I followed suit. Walking through the halls behind the students making sure nothing came up behind them, I noticed something. A student had made a Beeline for the bathroom. Quickly I followed, I wasn't going to let a student wonder about the castle with a troll on the loose. The halls seemed to go on forever, but finally I found the boys bathroom. Nothing. Nobody was in there.

" Strange, I thought for sure I saw a boy head this way." I decided it might be best to check both bathrooms. Going to the other side of the hall I saw the last thing I wanted to. Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger all standing around a knocked-out troll. " What on earth," At the sound of my voice they turned to look at me.

" (Y/n)! I can explain!" Before he could even finish his words, Severus, McGonagall, and Dumbledore all appeared behind me. As McGonagall scolded them, I noticed Harry eyeing Severus rather suspiciously. I followed his line of sight to see Sev flick his cloak over his leg. Hermione admitted to wanting to fight the troll for herself, and surprisingly McGonagall awarded them house points for bravery. She turned to me.

" Mrs. Snape, please see to it that these Gryffindors return to their dorms." I gave her a nod and followed behind the three trouble-makers.

" Harry, tell me the truth." I spoke curtly. He stopped in his tracks, and shyly turned around now right beside me.

" Well Ron made Hermione upset, so she'd been in the bathroom all throughout dinner. She didn't know anything about the troll. We couldn't just risk her getting attacked by it!" I looked over to Hermione.

" It's true Ms. (Y/n). They were only there to warn me; not to fight the thing." I sighed at her words.

" Well. I do admire your bravery, but next time tell a teacher before you get yourself killed Harry! Same for you two!" They all gave me a solem 'Yes, m'am'. When they were back into their common room I finally was able to head to Severus and I's shared room. I opened the door to find him tending to a rather nasty leg wound. " Sevy! What happened?" I rushed over to him. He put down a blood soaked rag.

" After I made sure the children were alright, Dumbledore wanted me to make sure nobody was trying to steal the stone. Which I don't blame him, how does a troll just make his way into the castle?" He shook his head in frustration. " Fluffy woke up before I could go down to see and got me. Damn dog, I swear Hagrid really did have to pick the most terrible trial." I laughed at him, which earned me a scowl.
