Bill and I are walking home.
"I c-c-c-can't believe you punched Richie." I stammer.
"I c-c-can't believe it e-e-e-either," Bill says.
"He w-w-was being a dick though." I continue.
We finally arrive at his house.
He walks up to his driveway.
"Meet at the memorial park by the s-s-s-standpipe tomorrow," Bill tells me turning to leave.
"W-w-wait..." I say.
He turns back around.
"W-w-w-what is it?" He asks
"C-c-can I stay the night? I k-k-k-know my dad won't be home until late and I d-d-don't want to be b-b-by myself tonight." I tell him.
"Yeah, o-o-off course," He says inviting me inside.
I drop my bike walking slowly into his quiet and empty house. I walk into his neat and organized room. I almost forgot what it looked like, what it smelled like.
"You c-c-can sleep in the bed if you'd like," Bill tells me.
"It's your b-b-b-b-bed you should sleep in it." I insist.
"We could b-b-both sleep i-i-in the bed," Bill stutters.
"If that's alright w-w-with you," I say.
He nods his head.
"Elizabeth?" He says.
"W-w-what is it, B-B-Bill?" I question
Bill walks up next to me. Our face inches apart. He presses his lips against mine. Our lips move in sync as I put my hand on his cheek. I pull back as my lips parting slightly. I brush his hair to the side.
"W-w-we should get to bed," I climb into the bed.
I closed my eyes as Bill pulled the blankets over us. As I felt myself to drift off I move closer to Bill. As he wraps his arms around me, his warmth radiating off of him.

When Bill and I wake up we bike to the standpipe at the memorial park. Where we were supposed to meet Beverly.
"Hey, where i-i-i-is Bev?" I ask.
"I d-d-d-don't know...She is s-s-supposed to be here." He stutters.
We wait for 10 minutes and Bev is nowhere to be seen. I start to get worried wondering where Beverly is.
"Maybe we should g-g-g-go look for her," I tell him.
He nods and we ride over to Beverly's apartment. When we get to her house her door is wide open. We slowly walk into her house. From what we see no one is there. We walk down the small hallway. We walk to the bathroom and I gasp as I see her dad lying there with blood everywhere. Bill and I run to Beverly's bedroom. On the wall, I see writing...You Die If You Try. My heart drops as Bill and I run out of the house. We rush to the Derry Arcade. When we enter we see Richie playing street fighter.
"Richie!" Bill yells.
"What do you want? See that guy I'm hitting? I'm pretending it's you." Richie says.
"I-I-I-I-It got Beverly," Bill tells him.
"What are you talking about?" Richie asks.
"It, Richie," Bill says.
Richie turns around...We get the rest of the losers and bike to the house on Niebolt Street. When we finally get there Bill grabs spikes from the fence. Richie walks over to a beer bottle and breaks it on the fence. We all look at him and he tosses it to the side. Eddie throws his fanny pack. Bill puts the spikes in his backpack and we walk into the house. I turn and see Stanley right outside the house.
"Stan?" Ben asks.
"Stan, we all have to go. B-B-B-Beverly was right if we split up like last time that clown will kill us one by one." Bill explains.
Stanley walks into the house. Bill hands me a flashlight and I click it on. Bill leads us downstairs and I see the well. Terror washes over me. My heart races and my breathing picks up. Suddenly I feel Bill's hand wrap around mine. I feel a sense of security with Bill's hand encasing mine.
