~"Who are you really, Peter Parker?" I ask in a hushed tone.
"What?"
"I said I'd explain 'later', didn't I? What are you hiding?"
"What do you mean?"
I sigh, "remember how yesterday, Happy and I took you home?"
"....Yeah?"
"How'd he know you?"
"H-he didn't. I just knew him because he's Tony Stark's driver. He doesn't know me!"
"How come he knew where you lived?" I ask.
"..."
"Mm-hmm, busted."
"Well, I, uh-"
"And by the way, I already got an explanation story from him. Let's see if yours matches up."
"..."
"I'm waiting~"
"Well, I, uh, I had this Stark Internship, and, well, Happy had to drive me home a few times, so..."
Damn.
"Have you ever met any Avengers?"
"Well, I've met Iron Man..."~

~"When are you going to stop lying to me?"
A moment of silence passes between us. "I'm not lying to you," he says, finally.
"Yes you are! I can tell! Why can't you trust me? I thought we were honest with each other!"
"We are!"
"THEN WHO IS PETER PARKER?"
He freezes and looks at the ground, "I-I already told you-"
"You lied."
He meets my eyes, and our staring contest begins.
"You want honesty?" I breathe, "I am the one who hacked you. I'm the one who found a file on Peter Parker from the Avengers Tower. A S.H.I.E.L.D file."
We remain in silence, until my dad finally speaks, "...You hacked me..."
"You lied to me."
"You hacked me?" He asks again in a slightly angry tone.
"You lied!"
"Young lady, that does not give you an excuse to hack me!" He raises his voice again.
"It seems that was the only way I would be able to get any information from anyone, since you all lied to me!"
"(Y/N) MARIA STARK, GO TO YOUR ROOM." He yells.
"WHY? WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT PETER PARKER? WHY WON'T YOU TELL ME? WHY ARE YOU LYING TO ME?!"
"NOW."~

~I walk down the hall and find Peter in the kitchen with his back turned. He's pouring cereal, but my eyes focus on the amount of muscles showing through his undershirt, and how strong his biceps look.
Peter turns around and smiles at me, "good morning (Y/n)." He says, then notices me staring at his muscles and starts to blush.
I give a small laugh, "damn, Parker. How'd a nerd like you get so ripped?" I laugh again, and give a joking smile.
He gives a nervous laugh in reply, "it's a long story...." He trails off.~

~Me:...okay...whatever. Have you heard from Peter lately?
Ned: No...he's busy
Me: Busy doing what?
Ned: It's complicated
Me: What do you mean it's complicated?
Ned: Peter can explain later
Me: okay.......
Me: You sound very suspicious right now
Ned: Whatever~

~"Hey...is this Peter?" I ask, looking up and raising an eyebrow.
Michelle laughs, "yeah. I like to sketch people in crisis."
"What crisis was he in?" I ask.
Michelle shakes her head, "I don't really know. He was really secretive about it. He didn't tell anyone what he was doing. Only that it had something to do with the Stark internship."
My eyes widen, "what?"
"Yeah. He had an internship with Tony Stark. Anyway he was dropping out of all sorts of stuff when it was going on. Like Marching Band and Robotics Lab. He was so stressed all the time."~

~As Peter ruffles through his bag, I catch a small glimpse of red and blue. However he pulls out a regular green t-shirt.~

~"What's going on?" Mr. Delmar asks.
"Call the police," Peter orders, "tell them there's an armed kidnapping happening on 21st street. Keep (Y/n) here."
"Peter!"
"(Y/n), I need you to stay safe," he says softly as he backs away.
"Where are you going?"
"I gotta go."
"Go where?!"
"Stay here (Y/n)!" He runs out of the store, leaving me with Mr. Delmar, who is talking with the police on the phone.~

~"I know that! I-I just want to protect you." He says, rubbing the back of his neck.
"...Then why did you leave?" I ask quietly.
"...What do you mean?"
I walk closer to him. "You told me to stay here...but then you ran off going who knows where, leaving me all alone?"
"..."
I press my lips together and turn away. "I've noticed."
Peter bites his lip, "n-noticed what?"
I take another step closer to him. "I know you, Peter Parker. I know it hasn't actually been that long but it's felt like forever. I know you're hiding something. Something big." I sigh. "I see you do strange things when you think no one's watching. Mixing something in the desk drawer of chemistry, leaving early all the time. Always being busy. Having an 'extra curricular activity'?" I make air quotes. "But I've respected your secret, Peter. You're allowed to have secrets. I have my own. And I lie sometimes. But I don't like lying to you. But I also know you lie to me sometimes."
I bite my lip and look him in the eye as he stands there, completely shocked.~
