This isn't just chemistry. It's the whole periodic table."

He gulped silently at her request.
"OK..."The sexually sheltered warrior for justice was not sure where to even begin.
"What happened back there?"
She questioned.
An awkward chuckle escaped the Villain.
"Well I knew it was bad... I just didn't know it was unrecognizable."
He shook his head, color flooding his pale cheeks.
"No..." she blushed profusely, breaking eye contact to stare at the floor.
"I know what happened... We kissed."
She stated the words out loud; saying the words that made both of them feel ridiculous, and she still couldn’t look at him.She noticed that the patterns on the designer carpet were quite interesting.
"And... and it wasn't that bad."
Galaxy Admitted.
Look at him. Come on Hero, look at him.
She bit her lip, gathering courage so she could meet his smoldering dark brown eyes.
"I'm just trying to figure out why we did that."
She watched his Adam's apple bob nervously up and down. Toxic took a seat beside her on the bed."Before we start talking can I please just beg you to not feel guilty about this?" He motioned back and forth between them.
"Why should it matter how I..."
She started.
"You don't understand."
He cuts her off.
"When you feel guilty... I feel it. You don't even need to speak I can just feel it. It's not like anything I've ever felt before!"She took in a breath.
"You can read my guilt?!?"
Well... She thought.
I guess that answers that mystery. He's never been able to before because I've never had anything to feel guilty about.
"No I can't read it." He answers.
"I just feel it. When you feel guilty around me I get sick, really sick. Like crawl in a hole and die sick. It's not something I ever want to feel again! I'm begging you, nemesis please, don't feel guilty ok?!?""Alright, I'll try."
She nodded nervously.
Toxic took a deep breath, leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees.
"Why did I do what I did? Why did I kiss you?" Toxic looked at her with the biggest and most adorable embarrassed set of eyes.
"Well tried to anyways."
He said, shaking his head.
"For once I don't have a very good explanation. I just really wanted to."I wanted it too.
She thought but didn't say.
"I really... I just... well..." He stutters and the adorable level is off the charts.
"Hold on a second, feelings were never my forte." He groans in exasperation, looking to the ground.
Unsure of herself, she slowly lifted her hand and gently brought it to his face. He sighed, leaning his cheek onto it.
"I kissed you because I wanted you more than anything else. I have... emotions for you."
For her that was the most romantic thing he could have ever said. It was like the heartless villain equivalent of a love sonnet."And I know it was bad... but I just couldn't stop myself. You're just so... and I just... well."
He was babbling again.
"I have emotions for you too."
She admitted out loud for the first time.
"I knew that."
He stated, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Well way to kill the whole Romeo and Juliet moment I was going for."
She pulled back her hand, crosses her arms against her chest and laughed.
"Well it's kind of obvious." He shrugs. "The fact that lately, every time I've taken my shirt off in front of you, I nearly choke to death on your guilt gives that away!""Oh I'm Toxic the all knowing."
She mocked him in a really high pitched and irritating voice: which made them both laugh, easing the tension between them.
"Oh yeah... everything. Except how to kiss a girl."
He admitted in a tone filled with self-deprecating disappointment.
"Hey, it wasn’t that bad."
The hero argued.
"And your rating this based on what?" He grinned.
"Your vast experience?"She bit her lip again.
He was right.
Like I'm some sort of expert on good and bad kissing.
"Well... you know what they say."
She cocked her head a bit, moving closer till their sides touched; running her hand up his arm, unsure of where this inner temptress was coming from.
"Practice does make perfect."
She felt him draw in a breath at her touch."Oh no! No! No! NO!"
He said, scooting away, snapping out of the daze she had put him in.
"Not that again!"
"No?" She whimpered, his harsh words had cut like a razor; making her feel about two inches tall.
"Oh no, I didn't mean no!"
His frightened eyes softened once he saw her hurt expression, motioning back and forth between them with his index finger.
"Yes. So much yes."
He grabbed her cheek in his palm; his radiation absorbing into her.
“In fact you wouldn't believe the levels of testosterone pumping through my system right now."
His words set fire to her insides.
"I just don't want to go in blind again...."
He stroked her cheekbone with his thumb."Hold that thought.”
He gets the light bulb look, and pulls out his handheld.
She peeked over to see what he was doing.
"Wikihow, really?" She laughed.
"Oh give me a break."
He answered, reading at a superhuman speed."You won't be complaining in a second.” He dropped the phone and grabbed her shoulders, and in a flash he was kissing her again.
