"Don't throw a tantrum. Your not a little kid." She scolded herself.

Kuro walked up to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Red, huh? Wasn't this my dad's?" Kuro asked, turning to Lance and Allura.

They both nodded. "Keith was the first out of us to pilot Red. But, soon he got an upgrade to The Black lion." Lance explained.

"Curiously, he didn't wear the Black armour." Allura said, gesturing to the space on the wall where it hung.

Athea turned to her parents, "Does that mean I will pilot The Black lion soon?" She asked confused.

Lance shrugged. "Maybe. But there were some... complications in our certain scenario. But, it is always a possibility."

Athea nodded, turning back to her own armour.

"All right then. Go suit up!" Lance called through the room.

Everyone nodded, taking their armour with them to their rooms.

Athea slipped on the brestplate, and adjusted her arm and knee guards, before looking at herself in the mirror on the wall.

She stood, taking in every detail she could. Because her dreams were coming true, right before her eyes.

She flexed her fingers, repeatedly curling them in fists and then releasing them, and well as occationally bending her knees.

Athea walked out of her bedroom, and down the hallway to the bridge. When she entered, all eyes averted to her, as well as the other new paladins, who were all dressed in their armour.

Athea's eyes trailed over her peers armour, with the bright colors that seemed to match them all along.

"Red suits you." Tyler said with a friendly smile, everyone else agreeing.

Athea smiled back, looking toward her parents, who were also giving her proud looks.

"When do the lions arrive?" Athea asked, trying her hardest to hide the excitement and impatience in her tone.

Lance gave her a smile.

"Hold your horses, there, Blue. You still haven't received your Bayards."

Hanna's face scrunched in confusion. "What are Bayards?"

"They are a weapon to the paladins. They each have a piece of the comet's ore, allowing it to be bonded with yourself to fit your need." Allura explained.

Hanna blinked. "Oh. Yeah, I still don't get it."

Jayden gently nudged Hanna with his elbow. "I think it will make more sense once you see it."

Lance nodded as they all journeyed down the small hallway once again.

Allura looked to Kuro. "Why don't you start, leader?" She asked with a smile, making his Bayard levitate toward him.

Kuro reached for his Bayard, his eyes glowing with wonder as his fingers laced around the handle and it began to glow and change its shape.

It stretched, transforming into a short, sleek black gun. Kuro glanced it over, before a smile curled his mouth.

"Try it out." Lance added.

Kuro held the blaster, holding it arms length away from his face. Everyone stood behind him as he fired.

A short, sharp, two pointed knife shot out of the gun, a purple glowing rope attached to it as it dug into the wall.

Kuro jumped at the action, staring for a moment, before walking over and retrieving the blade from it's hole.
