ABIGAIL WIPED AWAY HER TEARS AS SHE WALKED AWAY FROM TOBY AND FITZ. she had really formed a bond with toby and she was disappointed with not seeing her as much as she would have liked to.

she was nervous for the plane, that's for sure but also extremely drained from the events over the past few days. after getting through customs and all the airport stuff, the trio had to wait to board their flight for another while.

abi sat reading a random book she had brought for the plane. too engrossed in the book, she hadn't noticed the stare in her direction. she shot up with elliot and erika as her flight was called. hesitant to board, she threw her book in her bag and lazily walked towards the forming line.

abi chewed on the nail of her thumb as she waited in line, a nervous habit she had picked up only recently. she kept her eyes on the speck of dirt on her left shoe, trying to focus on something else than the journey ahead of her.

the line passed way too fast for her liking, erika was with abi while elliot, for some unknown reason, had boarded much earlier than the girls.

walking onto the plane and getting seated was surprisingly a lot less stressful than expected, putting away her boarding pass and passport, abi smiled at her luck of getting the window seat. she pulled out her book again, quickly starting to read before she could think about being on a death trap.

she felt someone sit next to her and looked up to smile at her neighbor
for the next while. the girl felt her eyes widen slightly at the man sitting at her side. he was around her age and was the most gorgeous human she had ever seen.  he smiled warmly at her and she felt heat creep up on her cheeks, she smiled back before looking down at her book again.

after a few hours, the plane was flying smoothly across the world and abi had finished her book. she had nothing else to do but go on her phone which was unfortunately more boring than reading a newspaper in her opinion.

she felt a tap on her shoulder as she stared out the window. whipping her heading around, the man beside her gestured to the lady taking orders for food and drinks. she purchased a bottle of water and a bar of chocolate, knowing she would get hungrier later and would just buy actual food then.

"thank you for telling me she was there," abi smiled at him beside her, he smiled back without speaking a word. something clicked in abis mind, she had seen his eyes before, she recognized them vaguely but she couldn't figure out where from. abi realised she had been staring when he looked back over at her, with a questioning expression.

"sorry, do I know you from somewhere?"

"i would hope so"

that voice was the most recognizable thing in the world. abi felt her whole face turn red as her eyes widened. she was almost frozen in place. she let out an embarrassed laugh before responding.

"eric, nice to finally meet you"
