"Well tell me what else it could have been," said Sam to Dean.

After our confrontation with Castiel in the barn, we went back to Bobby's house. Dean wasn't too convinced that Castiel was really an angel

" I don't know, I just know I wasn't groped by an angel" Dean replied to Sam almost making me spit my water out from trying not to laugh.

"Why would this Castiel lie about it?" Said Sam trying to reason with Dean.

"Maybe he's some kind of demon and demons lie," Dean said

"A demon immune to everything we threw at it Dean, dude even the demon knife. Even Lilith is scared of that knife." I said walking over to the fridge to grab a beer.

"Don't you think that if angels were real, some hunter somewhere would have seen one, at some point, ever?" Dean said blocking the fridge, not allowing me to grab a drink.

"Yeah you just did, Dean," I said sounding annoyed. I turn around and sit on Bobby's couch. The boys keep going back and forth then I hear a voice.

Nesta, you have been set aside. You are important, in due time all will make sense

Before I can react the voice is gone.

Set aside?
For what would the angels set me aside for?
Also in due time what is that supposed to mean?

I am snapped out of my thought when Bobby finally speaks up.

"You three chuckleheads wanna keep arguing religion or you wanna come to take a look at this? I got stacks of lore.
Biblical, pre-Biblical some of it's in damn cuneiform.

It all says an angel can snatch a soul from the pit." Bobby said showing ya the lore. So it's true angels are really real.

"Dean this is good news finally something good," I said turning to look at Dean.

"So what there's a God?" Dean asks

" Vegas money's is on yeah," Sam said

"I don't know guys," Dean said uneasily, fighting the idea that there is a God.

"You need to see the proof and the logic we have Dean, you can't deny it!" I said trying to reason with him.

" If there is a God out there, why would he give a crap about me? I've saved some people.
I figure that made up for the stealing and the ditching chicks.
But why do I deserve to get saved? I'm just a regular guy." Dean said.

It made me sad to think that Dean really felt that he wasn't worthy of being saved. He thought so little of himself and it hurt me to see him bring himself down.

"Apparently, you're a regular guy that's important to the man upstairs." Said Sam, making me chuckle.

"Well, what do we know about angels Bobby," I asked turning over to look at him. He threw me a funny look and then tossed me a book.

"How about you start reading," Bobby said giving a little sass like he always does.

I groan and take a book upstairs to an empty guest room. I plop down on the bed laying on my back and I open the book. I begin to read but it's all so boring after about 3 pages I put the book on my face and just lay there. I hear the door open and I sit upon my elbows.

It's Sam, he hasn't left yet I guess he forgot his money. As I was about to lay back down Sam makes his way to the bed. He hops on and crashes his lips to mine catching me by surprise. He bites my bottom lip causing me to gasp allowing his tongue to explore my mouth. He brings his hand down to the hem of my shirt slipping his hand under. He runs his hand over my stomach inching closer and closer to my chest. He finally cups my breast and I try to suppress a moan but fail miserably.

"Sam... Dean and Bobby are downstairs" I struggle to say.

We finally pull away.

"Don't you have to go get Dean's pie?" I asked him trying to catch my breath.

"Yea just wanted to do that before I go." He said with a smirk on his face. He got up and grabbed his wallet and walked out the door.

Damn it, Sam Winchester.

I get bored of reading and drift off to sleep.

Dream...

Sunflower field around September, the flowers once again reaching for the sun.

I have seen this before.... a dream I already had before. I turn around and sure enough, there was Castiel.

"Hello Nesta," Castiel says

"Hello? After all, that happened last night all you have to say is hello!?" I said sounding a little annoyed.

"I know last night was overwhelming, but I come bringing a message from heaven," he says stepping closer to me leaving only inches between us. I feel my face heat up and take a step back.

"Well messenger boy, deliver thy heavenly proclamation," I said

"Sam Winchester is drifting away, he is not as good as you think," Castiel said in a stern tone.

"What do you mean, Sam is an amazing person he would never do anything to hurt anyone," I said getting defensive.

"Humans and your feelings always making you blind," he says turning to walk away.

"Hey come back here, feeling??? I don't have any feelings for Sam" I said with all honesty. Yes, Sam and I keep each other company at times but I don't feel anymore. I could never have those feelings for Sam.

"Then why did you lay with him," Castiel asked genuinely confused. I blush with embarrassment, did he really see all that.

"So what now your spying on me?" I ask trying to shake it off.

"I watch over you, God asked me to" he replied looking at the flowers

"You talk to God?" I asked walking closer to him.

"Well no, they were orders from him given to me by my superior" Castiel replied turning to look at me.

"So what does all this heaven stuff have to do with me, why can I hear you? Why can I see your wings?" I asked feeling overwhelmed again.

"I don't know why all I know is that you are to be protected and at the moment being around Sam is not the safest of things," Castiel says with a protective tone.

"How could being around Sam not be safe, he's a Winchester for God's sake," I say kinda getting irritated. He simply looks at me then he disappears.

Then I wake up

I am awakened by Bobby knocking on my door telling me to hurry up. I guess we are leaving to go check up on a friend of Bobby's name Olivia. We all hop into the cars and make our way.

Once we arrive we go inside the house, everything is quiet and nothing is missing. Soon we find Olivia, dead torn to shreds.

"Oh my, Bobby are you, okay I know you knew her" I turn to Bobby, but he walks right out.

"Looks like Olivia was rocking the EMF meter," Dean said

"Meaning it must have been a spirit" I said looking down at the corpse.

Bobby walks back into the room holding a phone.

"Bobby are you alright?" Dean asked him as he walked back in.

"I called some hunters nearby," Bobby said

"Good we can use their help" Dean replied

"...except they aren't answering either" Bobby said

"What, something has to be seriously wrong," I said, I knew hunters don't just leave their phones unanswered especially several calls. Sam, Dean and I go to check on other hunters nearby. In every house we went into the person was dead. We finally call Bobby to find out our next move.

"You guys should hall ass back to my place" Bobby said to Dean through the phone. We packed up the impala and we headed back to Bobby's. I begin to drift off to sleep hoping to get some rest, but why lie to myself. I will only truly rest when I am dead.
