Dane was taken inside leaf's house. It looked like any normal Japanese small-town house in a town like Pallet town. Delia sat Dane down at a kitchen table while she went to get pokemon supplies. Dane took this time to look around the house. He saw many pictures of pokemon and Leaf with her mother. He then thought about what kind of pokemon he might get. A bird? One of those rat pokemon?
Soon Delia came back with a red backpack of pokemon supplies. It included 10 pokeballs, 5 potions, a water bottle, 500$, 3 repels, and a sleeping bag. Outside of the backpack, she got him a pokemon cap and some running shoes that were CONVENIENTLY his size. Delia smiled.
" There! Now your all ready for the kanto region! Now, just head out the door to the biggest building in pallet town. That's Professer Oaks lab. Leaf and Oak will be there and you can get your first pokemon there."
Dane smiled
"Thanks, miss!"
He gets out of the house and makes his way to Oaks lab. When he got to oaks lab, he saw Leaf and an old Professer chatting to each other. Dane interviened their conversation so Oak could notice him. Oak looked at Dane.
"Hm? Oh? Are you the kid named Dane leaf here was talking about?"
Dane nods
"Great! Now..."
Professer Oak explains the basics of pokemon, pokemon battling, gyms, types, trainers, and a lot more.
"Now that you know most of what you need to know, lets choose your starter pokemon!"
Oak gets out three pokeballs and let's out a water turtle, a fire salamander, and a plant dinosaur.
"You can choose from squirtle, a water type turtle, charmander, a fire type salamander, or bulbasaur, a grass type dinosaur."
The three pokemon say their names as Dane examines them.
"Hmm....."
