Y/n slowly and uncertainly rested her hands on the table, her nose scrunching up slightly when pain shot through her arms. She let out a soft grunt of discomfort as she adjusted herself to leave most of her weight off her hands. Dark silver blood with shimmers of black and gold within it started seeping out from under her palms, creating a tiny pool of blood within a few minutes. She gritted her teeth and closed her eyes, forcing her energy to flow from her veins. She heard a soft twinkle ring out into the air and once she reopened her eyes, she gasped. At the same time, surprised noises emitted from her friends, but she didn't know why.
"Woah, it worked!" She said in disbelief.
She wasn't in the room anymore. Her body was there, but not her soul. She was among the stars in outer space, staring back down at Earth.
"What do you see?" Persephone asked.
"I see.. I see Earth, and different coloured dots."
"The dots, which we actually call orbs, are different types of species on the Earth - the spirits, animals, humans, Divinities, creatures and such. Search for a golden orb, those represent Gods and Goddesses."
-
The group drew in sharp breaths when Y/n opened her eyes, their own widening when they realised that her irises weren't their normal hazel amber colour, but instead a pale grey with gold streaks within them.
"Wow," Namjoon breathed as he stared at her, transfixed.
Her pupils were flitting around the room, as if she was looking for something, which she was - only it was not in their current dimension. A frown slowly made its way onto her face and she parted her lips, tilting her head slightly in confusion, "I - I can't find any golden orbs."
"Are you sure?" Persephone's voice was laced with worry as she asked again, her hands curling into fists as she held them by the front of her abdomen.
"Yes," she confirmed, "is it possible that Hades is in another dimension? Like Heaven or something like that? Dimensions that aren't accessible by humans?"
"It is possible, but how would he have gotten there? Heaven is out of the picture, we've checked and he isn't there."
"What other dimensions are there?"
The Goddess hesitated, her eyebrows furrowing, "none that I can think of on the spot which we haven't checked."
"I could always recheck," Y/n offered.
Then, Jungkook's ears twitched slightly and he objected immediately, "I don't think you should, Noona."
"Why not?"
"I think you're losing maybe a little too much blood."
"What?" Hoseok and Taehyung moved to peek at her hands and noticed that her silver blood was dripping off the edge of the table and onto the floor, making a continuous tapping sound.
"Okay, let's get you off this thingy." Namjoon took a few steps towards her then stopped, taking a glance to Persephone with a slightly clueless expression, "how do I do that?"
"She just has to lift her hands off the table."
Y/n nodded and did so, her eyes closing and reopening after her hands were off. Her eyes had reverted back to its amber-streaked hazel, her pupils dilating as she blinked and her vision adjusted to the slight dimness of the room. Namjoon headed to her immediately, grabbing the bandages and antiseptic that Persephone passed to him as he reached for her hand, stopping before and looking to her to make sure it was alright. In response, she lifted it for him, holding it out for him to patch up. He applied antiseptic on with a cloth after cleaning the wound gently, leading her away from the table while Persephone moved to clean it off.
"Are you okay? Are you dizzy at all?" He asked, his eyes trained on her hands and his actions.
"No, but I'm disappointed," she pouted, "I wasn't able to find Hades."
"So? At least you tried, it was better than not doing anything at all."
She shrugged, watching as he moved to bandage her other hand once he finished with the first. She lifted it up and started playing with the hem of his shirt mindlessly, twirling it around her finger and scratching at the fabric. It was a habit she had developed when she was bored or just needed something to fidget with, and he didn't mind at all. The only thing that got him slightly annoyed was that sometimes she scratched and fidgeted too hard with the hem that she managed to poke a hole through the material, otherwise, he was used to it and didn't care.
"You did well, kid," he reassured, "don't worry about it."
She smiled softly, "thank you, Joonie."
