That evening after Hoseok had left Taehyung's gallery, he went back to his home, which was a mansion in the outskirts of the city. Far enough away from prying eyes but close enough to know exactly what's going on, everywhere.

About an hour after his arrival, he received a phone call.

"Well...?" Hoseok asked, the moment he picked up the call. He wasn't one for greetings and such pleasantries.

"You're going to have to kill me." Taehyung said on the other end of the call.

"God! Taehyung just kill the bitch and stop being such a little shit!" Hoseok yelled, he was pissed. Really, how hard was it to kill someone. He hated that Taehyung was making such a big deal out of something so trivial.

"No, so go ahead and kill me."

Taehyung knew Mr. Sunshine wouldn't kill him, he figured that out after the first couple of times the older had asked him to kill and he didn't. Typically, if someone even thought about disobeying the mafia leader, he would have the person's head on a platter before that person could even blink but with Taehyung, Mr. Sunshine just yelled, scolded him, beat him up or did all three. At first Taehyung thought it was unusual, which, in all honesty, it was. But then he figured out the reason behind it: he was the man's prized possession. He was too good at what he did and in Mr. Sunshine's own sick and twisted way, he cherished him. That's also why he didn't let Taehyung go even after he had worked off his family's debt.

"Kim Taehyung!" Hoseok yelled through the phone but Taehyung didn't budge.

"I will await my death at your ruthless and merciless hands. You know where I live." Taehyung said before hanging up the call.

Don't misunderstand, Taehyung was terrified of Mr. Sunshine but he knew that at the very most, he would end up with a few broken bones. Nothing he couldn't handle.

But Hoseok had had enough. Sure, he couldn't do much damage to Taehyung physically, but that didn't mean he didn't have other ways to hurt Taehyung enough to make him bend to the his will.

As Hoseok sat in his home office, he spun around in his office chair, laughing to himself. He kills people the way butchers kill animals, just his name alone is enough to incite fear in the hearts of hundreds of people, and Taehyung wants to walk all over him? Who the hell does he fucking take me for?

He took out his phone and dialed his lover: Park Jimin.

"Hey babe. " Jimin, one of the only two people who knew Hoseok's real name said, the moment he picked up the call. The second and only other person with the privilege of being bestowed with such knowledge was Hoseok's right hand man, Kim Namjoon.

"Baby, how's your relationship with Kim Seokjin?" Hoseok asked the moment Jimin picked up the call.

•••••

Hoseok knew who Jin was. He recognized the younger immediately when he saw him in Taehyung's office earlier. He only played dumb because he didn't want Taehyung to know that he knew who Seokjin was, at least, not yet.

Hoseok had wanted to get his hands on Taehyung since the moment the younger left the military. He had been keeping tabs on the younger for the three years that he worked for the Kim's, waiting for the right time to strike and claim Taehyung as a member of the mafia.

He had Namjoon work security at Jin's father's company during those three years under the name Choi Hoseok and Namjoon had watched and reported back to Hoseok about Taehyung whenever Taehyung accompanied Jin to his father's company during that time.

After years of watching them, Namjoon concluded that not only did Seokjin love Taehyung, but Taehyung reciprocated the younger's feelings. Jung Hoseok's original plan was to kidnap Jin so Taehyung would be subservient to him in order to keep Jin alive.

When Taehyung took two weeks off to be with his mother after she had been shot, Hoseok pulled some strings and had Namjoon upgraded from company security to Jin's temporary bodyguard to keep an eye on the younger because it was nearing time to put his plan of kidnapping Jin into motion.

Then Taehyung quit his job and his whereabouts were unknown for a while. Namjoon returned as Jin's bodyguard to make sure he was right next to Jin for when Taehyung had been found so Hoseok could finally carry out his plan but destiny smiled on Hoseok when he not only found Taehyung but also found out that Taehyung's family owed him a debt. This was three months later.

Hoseok realized he didn't need Jin anymore, at least not at the moment.

He made Namjoon stay as Jin's bodyguard and he also had Jimin befriend Jin in college since Namjoon couldn't follow Jin around in college. Hoseok needed eyes on Jin at all times in case Taehyung was, at any point, being unreasonable and needed a little persuasion.

Things had been going smoothly except Taehyung's unwillingness to kill. Hoseok had let it go until now but he was becoming fed up by it.

Taehyung had forced his hand and now it was nearing time for that "little persuasion."

Hoseok was sure that if he kidnapped Jin and cut off a couple of the younger's toes, Taehyung would do what he says.

"Jin and I are best friends. I'm still trying to get him to fall for me, though. That's a work in progress." Jimin replied, answering Hoseok's question. He figured that if Jin fell for him, it would make manipulating the younger easier when the time came because sure, you would do a lot of things for your best friend, but you would do anything for your lover. He had been trying to get Jin to fall for him since the moment he was assigned to the younger but Jin just wouldn't fucking let go of Taehyung which fucking pissed Jimin off. Jimin had a whole mini celebration party in his car after dropping Jin off at work for the first time, when Jin didn't seem disgusted that the older had kissed him on the cheek. Jimin was happy that he was finally making progress with Jin, he was happy that Taehyung wasn't in Jin's life which made it easier to make Jin fall for him, but the moment Jin saw Taehyung at the gallery, Jimin knew he was back to square one with Jin which was one of the reasons he hated Taehyung. All his hard work for four years, had been for nothing all because Taehyung decided to show his ugly face again.

"Good, I'm going to need you to bring him in soon. Taehyung is being a pain in the ass again and I've had enough." Hoseok said and Jimin scoffed. "I don't get what you see in him, babe. You don't need him when you have me. I'm the best in the business" This was the other reason Jimin hated Taehyung. He knew his boyfriend favored Taehyung more than him.

"You were the best in the business but Taehyung took your place, he's better than you." Hoseok said blatantly and Jimin mouthed, asshole. He wouldn't dare say it out loud, he loved his life.

"Fine, I'll be waiting for your orders then." Jimin said, and anyone could tell by the tone of his voice that he was upset, and a little hurt too.

"Jimin" Hoseok called, after noticing how upset his boyfriend sounded.

"What" Jimin answered, almost harshly.

"I love you" Hoseok said and he could hear Jimin trying to contain his squeals on the other side of the line.

How could Jimin stay mad at his sunshine?

"I love you too, babe"

A/N: I kind of feel like I'm not doing a good enough job at explaining so if you have any questions, ask and I'll answer.

Also, what do you guys think of the whole mafia-turn-of-events and the fact that Jimin isn't the cute adorable moochi you all thought he was?
