"Y/N, can you just tell me?" Ethan crossed his arms playfully. I smiled to lighten the mood,
"I love animals. Like, I'm a big animal person." I clenched my fists anxiously. Ethan squinted,
"That's it? You love animals?" He uncrossed his arms and threw them up,
"Well, that was anti-climatic." I smiled and clapped,
"Then let's go see some."
~Ethan's P.O.V~
I was honestly expecting a dog shelter or, like, socially normal pets. Anyone would, right? Y/N uncovered my eyes,
"Welcome to my happy place." She bounced away from me and began to pet the animals. I was frozen in place. We were in a giant reptile outdoor habitat type thing. It was sort of like a walk in zoo. The place was filled with lizards, Kimono Dragon-looking creatures, and alligators and crocodiles. Y/N was happily stroking a large reptile and brought it up to me,
"This is Hector. Pet him." She held it out to me. I physically shrunk away,
"You said you like animals. Not fucking dragons." Y/N pouted,
"But, look at their cute faces." She smiled and let Hector shuffle away. She walked to the the alligator section and stepped into the gate, no problem. She put on some weird vest and held out a raw steak,
"Catherine? I have a snack." An alligator, or was it a crocodile?, emerged from the water. It stopped in front of Y/N and fear ran through my veins. The monster didn't attack, though. It waited, like a dog, for the steak. Y/N shook the meat,
"Where are your babies?" Her voice was one you would use to talk to a baby. 'Catherine' snorted and began to turn, walking towards a shady area of the enclosure. I followed outside of the pen,
"What the fuck? "
