donghyuck pushed minhyung away, feeling anger in him as soon as he heard what the latter said.
"plus, you're in no place to teach me or whatsoever. i'm the crown prince and you're just someone that my father has chosen. know your place, alright?" minhyung scoffed as he started to walk.
donghyuck was purely mad that his face turned red and hot. he decided to shut his mouth, knowing that arguing with an arrogant person was useless. is this the person he has to spend his life with? donghyuck held himself from crying out of irritation. he just needed to be patient.
"oi, you're going to follow me or just stand there?" minhyung disrupted his thought.
stomping his feet, donghyuck approached him, not saying anything and avoided his gaze from the latter. minhyung rolled his eyes and continued to walk with donghyuck following behind him.
the walk was only filled with minhyung's voice, pointing here and there to tell donghyuck what was this and that. donghyuck wasn't really paying attention and just hummed. minhyung noticed the cold treatment given to him and clicked his tongue.
"that will be your quarter," minhyung said as donghyuck roamed his eyes to look at the big scale of the place.
"nice," donghyuck muttered simply, not interested in moving there. he would miss their old quarter. it was where he born and a lot of memories were made there.
"but once we're married, you'll live in my quarter, you get that?" minhyung asked.
donghyuck sighed as he didn't like the thought of living in one roof with this conceited jerk. "yeah whatever."
minhyung was about to scold him but he realized that they were in front of the garden. grinning, he remembered something, "you like sunflower, don't you?"
donghyuck was taken aback by the question and crossed his arms against his chest, "how did you know?"
"general lee told me," minhyung said, eyeing the latter's reaction. "i guess you never tell your father about your relationship, am i right? oh, i wonder what will happen if he finds out."
donghyuck clenched his jaws, "that's none of your business."
"it will.. once you become my husband," minhyung smirked.
"just stay out of this," donghyuck warned, walking away.
minhyung shrugged his shoulders and went next to his side. "you guys must be so in love, huh?"
"yes we are. very much. do you have a problem with that?" donghyuck replied.
"you must be sad that you have to marry someone else instead of the one you love. jeno cried too when he heard about the news," minhyung sighed as he remembered the tears that streamed down jeno's face. after that day, they became awkward and only spoke a little. however, jeno did meet up with mark to have a conversation with him about his request and that was it.
donghyuck nodded his head, feeling the sadness crept up in his heart, "of course, who wouldn't? he's the man of my dream. i already imagine how our future to be, the happy family we will build one day but now it turns into ashes. i have to marry someone like you instead."
minhyung pitied them but it wasn't his will or intention to snatch their happiness. minhyung had never felt being in love but he knew it must be hurtful knowing that you would not end up with the one you loved.
