𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡 ❝ 𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐒 ❞
TRUDGING DOWN the stairs of the hotel, Misty walks alongside MJ as they head towards the bus. She is surprised to see Artemis standing near it, arms crossed and deep in thought. Why is he here? How is he here? Those questions floating around in her mind. Peter managed to give her a call from a public phone, telling her he found Fury and Artemis. He also told her to get rid of her phone because Beck is possibly tracking her as well. Yet, how could Artemis be here?
"Why are you staring at the driver like that?" MJ asked.
"He's helping Peter as well," Misty replied. "I'll meet you in the bus. If I don't, you know why." Misty added.
"Stay safe, okay?" MJ sounded worried. Misty simply nods, the two girl separating. Misty walked towards Artemis, gesturing at him for a private conversation. He nods, slipping away stealthily. She conjures up an ice barrier, cloaking the both of them.
"What's up?" he asked casually.
"Why are you here? Didn't you know we're going home?" she asked.
"No...Director Fury rescheduled your trip to England." he frowned.
"Aren't you supposed to be with Fury and Peter in Germany?" Misty rests her hands on her sides.
"Wait, Peter's in Germany?" he was stunned by this news.
"He just told me he met up with you and Fury an hour ago." Misty said.
"Misty, I haven't left Prague the entire time. Fury told me to stay behind and get you all to England." he said.
"Oh no..." Misty soon realised what this could mean.
"Why did Peter go to Germany?" Artemis asked.
"Beck faked everything Artemis. The elementals, all of the attacks. It was just him using illusion tech. Peter went to Germany to warn Fury but you said you never went back and Peter said he saw you with Fury as well. He's in trouble." Misty sounded worried. She knew she should've went with Peter despite him telling her no. Now, she fears he's in danger.
Artemis' phone buzzes in his pocket, pulling it out to see a phone call from Happy Hogan. He quickly answers the call.
"Happy, I'm surprised by the call." Artemis said.
"Well, were are you?" he asked.
"Outside of Carlo IV Hotel in Prague. Why?" he asked.
