Not soon after the sun was fully gone, another Friend showed up on the boat.
"I blew it," the attractive man said as he got onto the boat. I don't swing that way, I am a mates man but I know when another guy is attractive.
"What did you do this time, Alastor?" Aeolus asked their friend. Eros lit a smoke then handed it to the troubled man. "I tried to kiss her and she pushed me off the boat. Then I accidentally called her the wrong name" ouch. Eros burst our laughing.
"She's not her, you need to just get that through your head," Aeolus told him. "She's incredible, and I really like her, but I think I blew it"
"A love like the one you shared only happens once in a lifetime my dude". "She's not her" Aeolus snapped.
"I just want to love her," Alastor told them. That's when he realized I was here. "Who's your friend?" He asked. "Mason," I said with a smile. Something was off about these guys.
"Nice to meet you, Mason, you can call me Alas," he said as he smiled back.
"Maybe your time with her is over. Maybe it's time to move on, find someone new. Even if we don't want to accept it, we have to. I had to when I lost my first love" Alastor nodded, agreeing with me.
"So what are you doing out here?" Aeolus asked me.
"I made a horrible mistake, and I'm just trying to fix it," I told them. "Do explain" they told me. "You don't smell human," Alas said as he leaned closer to me. "Werewolf," I told them. "Oh we are gods," Eros said and I just nodded. "Makes sense," I said making them smile.
"I had a mate, then she rejected me. I never thought I would find love again, But the moon goddess gave me a blessing. My second chance"
"And I messed that up. But we ran into each other again, then I thought I lost her. I did everything to find her but I messed up. My mate is a skilled warrior, she's one of the best. She came to my pack to help after there were some complications with rouges. I messed it up again" I ran my hand's through my hair.
"Sounds rough," Aeolus said as he looked at me. "Then her grandma got sick, so she went home and I went with her. We ended up getting married, then my pack needed me again. And I was stupid, I didn't take her or explain where I was going. I just left the morning after our wedding night"
"Dude not to be mean but that's is shitty," Eros said as he shook his head at me. "I came back and I lost her. She was pregnant and she was missing" my wolf let out a whimper just thinking about it.
"About a month later she was back, but changed. I needed time to think. I was so angry and upset, and I ended up blaming her"
"You blames her!" Eros yelled at me. "I told her some things, and basically told her I wanted nothing to do with our son. But now I'm here to get my family back. I just want us to be a family. Because I love her, and our son so much."
"We are helping him," Eros said as he looked to his friends. "We aren't supposed to mess with human affairs," Aeolus told Eros.
"Fine" Eros said after he cursed. "I fell like this is something I should do alone," I told them as I looked over to the island. "Eros don't you dare," Aeolus said as he reached into his back pocket. He pulled out a small compass, he looked down at it before handing it to me.
"It will lead you to her" Eros said before he got smacked in the back of the head. "Hey!" He yelled as he looked at his friends.
"I am the God of Love, I'm doing my job," Eros told them. The god of love was personally helping me find the love of my life.
"When you're done it will to Someone that needs it, or someone that deserves it. If it stayed with you, keep it on you at all times" I opened the compass. It started spinning before it picked a direction, I smiled.
"It will start spinning when you are within a yard of them," he told me as I stood up. "Thank you," I told him.
"Good luck" Aeolus yelled as I jumped off the boat.
I walked off the dock and started following the magic compass. I walked down to the beach as I looked down at it. I kept walking down the beach that was lit up by only moonlight.
Soon enough I was too far from the city to see it, all that surrounded me was the woods and the ocean.
I kept walking, glancing at the compass that leads me home. Lead me to my mate.
