Vivian's pov

"Do you find Vivian attractive?" She asked suspiciously and I laughed. "Well I'd hope so, she's my girlfriend after all." He said casually and they all freaked out.

"Mom!" I yelled as she started to freak out. "Since when?" My grandma yelled and I started laughing. "Five months," I mumbled and they all freaked out again.

"Why didn't you say anything?!" My grandma yelled again and I laughed. "I had just gotten out of a really bad relationship and we knew management wouldn't allow it so we just kept it to ourselves." Daniel started.

"And all of our friends are in super public long distance relationships and it really takes a toll on them." I said and they all looked confused.

"What do you mean? All you're friends are famous?" My grandma asked confused.

"Yea uh remember earlier when Vinnie told them I had a show tomorrow?" Daniel asked and they nodded, "I'm in a band, we're called Why Don't We and there are five of us." He laughed, "we have a bunch of free backstage passes if you want them. We don't have seats left but you could just chill in the green room."

They all accepted and I looked nervously at him. "Uh his band mates don't exactly know about us." I said, "so just pleaseee do NOT say anything."

They all agreed and me and Daniel made our way back to the hotel. "Vinnie, Corbyn is staying at Christina's tonight so you've got your own room." Jonah said as we walked past him in the lobby.

"It's okay, someone else can have it, I'll stay with Daniel." I casually said and he looked confused. "You don't want your own room?" He asked and I laughed.

"You or Zach can have it so you guys don't have to share this time." Daniel said and we got in the elevator before he could say anything else.

Once we made it to the room I felt Daniel start clinging onto me. I turned around so that our faces were only inches away and I smiled. "I'm sorry for telling your family." He sighed and I giggled.

"I was dying to tell them anyway, now we just have to tell your mom." I said and his eyes widened. "I kinda maybe already did." He mumbled and I laughed at the way he said it.

"You're beautiful." He said as he leaned down to kiss me. "You never let me forget that huh?" I asked and he formed a huge smile.

"You shouldn't ever forget that." He said as he kissed me. After a little while of just making out I pulled away. "We should do something fun."

"What?" He furrowed his eyebrows and I laughed, "come on." I said as I grabbed his hand and brought him over to my bag. I shuffled my belongings around and grabbed a black bikini.

"There's no pool here." He said confused. "Manhattan beach is right over there." I pointed out the window. "It's September." He said.

"Okay?" I said trying to find what was wrong with my idea. "Just go change." He sighed and I happily trotted to the bathroom.

I changed and threw on a pair of Nike airs and one of his sweatshirts. We were soon down in the lobby and sneaking past the boys that were down there.

We made it out without anybody noticing us and we were on our way to the water. It was only a few blocks away so it didn't take long. As soon as we made it to the sand I kicked off my shoes and ran to the water.

I heard him running behind me and as soon as I was close to the water I stopped in my tracks. Daniel caught up to me and looked out at the ocean. There were a few people it on the sand on fewer in the water but it was peaceful.

I slowly took off the sweatshirt and stepped into the water. Daniel snapped a picture of me as I stood in the water and then came in after me.

We messed around in the water for a while and on our way back to the hotel we set backstage passes outside my family's apartment door. Today couldn't be more perfect.

We got back to the hotel and we both changed out of our wet clothes. When I came out of the bathroom Daniel was already laying down. I climbed into bed next to him and laid my head on his chest. I didn't really feel like doing anything tonight, I just wanted his presence.

I just needed him next to me tonight. "Vinnie, I don't know what's going to happen to us." He said in a sad tone and I looked up at him.

"What?" I said in a confused tone. "Well I just don't know how we are going to be able to stay like this." He huffed out and I pulled his arm tighter around me.

"We can't always be near each other but I really don't want to have to let you go. I'm so tired of doing what everyone else wants me to, this is the only thing I want." I mumbled and he looked sad.

"I'm not ready for Japan. I'm going to be all the way across the fucking world for two months. I'm so sick of missing you like this." He said back.

"Me too." I buried my head in his chest and his arms tightened around me. It was like he couldn't let me go.

"Just please don't go anywhere." He mumbled as he started to fall asleep.
