"Yeah, yeah. Hi, I'm here. I'm ok." I chuckle to myself, happy to hear his voice again.

"That's good to hear." He says, after a short moments pause. I then pass the radio back to Clarke, who needs it more than I do.

"Hey! They're back!" Someone calls from inside the drop ship, and we all turn to the doors, watching as Bellamy walks in, close behind him follow his men, who are carrying a large unconscious man, who they then drop onto the ground. I recognise the grounder as the one who took Octavia hostage, stabbed Finn and almost stabbed me too.

"You've gotta be kidding me." I mumble under my breath to Clarke.

I furrow my eyebrows walking up to him.

"What are you doing?" I ask him and he glares at me, immediately knowing I'm going to argue with him

"Getting answers." He deadpans.

"Are you insane? You're just trying to get revenge for your sister and being an idiot. Like always." I shouting at him as Bellamy rolls his eyes at me.

"No, I'm trying to get intel. Which is smart." He then turns to his buddies. "Get him upstairs." He orders and they do as he says, struggling to get the large man up the ladder.

"You seriously went back into the woods to go and get him. What the hell do you think is going to happen now? The rest of the grounders will come looking for him, and when they find him here, they'll kill us all." I tell him, and before he can argue back, the radio static fills the air.

"Clarke, okay we are ready. Can you hear me?" I hear from the radio. It's Abby. She's back.

"We can worry about that later. I'm doing this Matthews, whether you like it or not." Bellamy tells me, pushing past me and making his way over to the ladder, climbing up but I follow after him, intent to stop him from doing something he'll regret.

"Bellamy wait." I call out after him before we both get to level 3 and I notice Bellamy's followers are tying the grounder up. "Bellamy, think about this for one moment." I insist but Bellamy steps closer to me.

"I have thought about it. You've said it yourself, Ariel, we're no match to the grounders. But if we find out their strategies, the kind of weapons they have, the numbers - we could actually stand a chance."He puts, sternly, calling me by my actual name which always means he's being genuine, which means he wants me to listen to him. And in a way, he is right. The only possible way we'd stand a chance is getting this information, but is it worth destroying our moral compasses?

"You're right." I tell him, honestly. I can see that he looks relieved. "But you can't use him, Bellamy, he saved your sister."

"And he stabbed Finn." He reminds me.

"He stabbed Finn because you refused to leave when I told you to." I argue and he raises his brows.

"So it's my fault he's down there dying right now? Is that what you're saying?"

I scoff. "No, of course not. What I'm saying is your actions have consequences. You told me I need to learn to control my temper, maybe you need to take your own advice."

He looks annoyed at me, clearly not liking what I just said, which means in some way it got through to him.

"Violence doesn't need to be the answer." I protest, softly, as he looks from the grounder to me, and he sighs looking down.

"I'm sorry, Ariel. But we don't have time for that. For all we know, the grounders are lining up to attack tomorrow. This is how it has to be." He unfortunately responds and I shake my head as he turns around, taking a step toward him.
