As soon as this words left Camila's mouth, mine opened in shock. I didn't realize that she stood up and left the room, leaving my phone on the bed. I definitely wasn't expecting that. After our last encounter I was sure that I won't hear from her anytime soon. I wonder what this is about and why it got Camila so mad. I collected myself and went to unlock my phone.

That was just some of them but after that last one I decided not to read anymore. I was speechless. I know something must've happened if she's texting me cause we weren't texting on daily basis. I probably shouldn't care but you see, she was my friend. A really good one, a childhood friend. And even when things go wrong sometimes and you out grow each other you always have a special place in your heart for them. And that's how it is with Lucy. I will always care about her, even after what happened the last time I knew it wasn't her. It wasn't the Lucy I know and I'm relieved that she's finally in that place when she can admit that she needs help. And I'm willing to help her.
But first I have to talk to Camila. She's my main priority and if she's not okay with it I'll find someone else to help her. God I'll even contact her dad if I'll have to. Call me whipped but this time I intend to make this right. And I will always put Camila first before anything else.
So I left my phone on the nightstand and left the bedroom to look for her. She was sitting in the kitchen with her back to me. I came in quietly and stood behind her. Then I put my hands on her shoulders and started massaging the area softly. She was a bit tense and I knew it was my fault. She let out a long sight and started to relax.
"Camz. Baby, I'm sorry. " I whispered in her ear and she hummed.
The silence between was getting louder and I couldn't stand it. I stepped back and turned her around on the stool so I can look at her. My heart broke at the sight when she looked up at me with teary eyes. I knew that she's insecure but I would never think that it will affect her that much. And I hated myself for that. I gently grabbed her chin with my thumb and forefinger and smiled sadly at her.
"Baby, I'm so sorry. I need you to know that you're the one for me, I don't want anyone else. You're my dream come true and I would never break your trust like that. I care about you so much and you're my number one priority." I said softly and she nodded. I leaned in and kissed her cheek softly.
"But I have to be honest with you." I continued. "Lucy was a big part of my life, and she was there when I needed her. I feel like it's my turn to help her. She's calling for help, baby. And she trusts me that I can be the one to get her out of this hole. I was there too. And belive me it's hard. But I'd do the same for you and I'm sure you'd do the same thing for Dinah."
"It's different Lauren. Dinah was never in love with me." Camila argued back.
"But I'm not in love with Lucy. I never was. I know it's hard to understand but please let me help her. Do you trust me?"
"You know I do." She said in determined tone but I knew she's still not 100% sure.
"Baby I want you to be sure about that. If you don't won't me to then I won't. I'll ask her parents or Vero." I said genuinely.
Few minutes passed and Camila still didn't answer. I was just going to leave a kiss on her forehead and tell her that it's fine but before I could do that I felt two warm hands cupping my cheeks.
"I trust you, babe. She deserves to be happy too and I believe that you're the one who can bring her back. You owe her that." Camila said sincerely and I smiled gently at her.
I kissed her lips softly but with all the emotions I felt in that moment. Sometimes I still can't believe that she's my girlfriend. I feel like it's a fairytale and I'm gonna wake up any second. That's why I don't want to waste anymore time. I was waiting to say this three words but you can't wait for the right moment forever. You have to make this moment right.
"You're amazing, baby. I love you so much Camila." I said after we pulled away and her eyes looked like they are about to pop. She was definitely surprised cause her mouth opened and closed few times.
"You don't have to say it back. I understand if you-"
I was cut off with hard kiss. Camila kissed me so passionately like never before. And I kissed her back with so much fervor. Somehow this kiss was different than the others. It was filled with so much love and I never experienced something like that before. After few minutes we both pulled away cause we found it hard to breathe and our kisses were getting sloppy.
When I opened my eyes Camila was wearing the biggest smile and her eyes were beaming with happiness.
"I love you too, babe."
