Namjoon immediately launched himself at it, purple energy warping around his hands as he struck it right in its flank. He landed on the other side of it and grabbed its leg quickly, dragging it with as much strength as he could towards a building. Y/n, Seokjin and Jimin rushed after him, pushing the creature with them against the wall and falling right through the wall along with it as it screeched.

Y/n twisted herself around and stretched her body out as she reached for the ground below her, curling up and diving into a roll at the last second. She tumbled across the field, digging her heels into the dirt and forcing her momentum to disappear. She stood up straight away and glanced around.

They were in between dimensions, on a plane of grass that seemed to stretch out and around them forever. The sky was a light blue with a bright sun in the middle of it, clouds floating over it as the wind pushed them.

Namjoon must have pushed them here with the intention of not destroying any of Earth's areas.

She pushed the thought to the back of her mind and exhaled softly, focusing on the monster a few meters away from her, watching, observing as it whipped around to try and counter each of Seokjin's, Jimin's, and Namjoon's attacks. She summoned a specific ability she knew would be effective against it, her hazel eyes glowing slightly as the power flowed through her star-infused veins to the very tips of her fingers and down to her feet. She forced the energy into the ground, the colour of her irises fading to a light grey that was barely visible. Her eyes darted to the grass beneath her, trails of light emerging from below her feet and following her silent instructions as they made their way to the creature.

They reached the legs of the monster and curled around its feet, causing it to yell in pain as it flapped its ebony black wings desperately. Bright strings shot up from the ground and clasped onto its wings fiercely, pulling it down and pinning it to the grassy field. Its long tail started thrashing from side to side, trying to reach around to slap away the tendrils holding it captive. Another strand wrapped around its tail and tugged on it sharply. Much like a puppy, it whined with the sudden action and dipped its head to show submission once she had a grasp on the tail.

Namjoon glanced to her with his purple-streaked eyes, a slight smile making its way onto his face. Though for what, she had no idea.

"Let's get it back to the academy," Seokjin panted, glaring at the creature, "I'm sure Principal Scherri would love to know why this bitch of a Hell Dragon is doing above the underworld."

"Hey!" Jimin frowned at the older, "don't assume its gender."

"I'm not assuming its gender, Jimin. I am insulting it, there is a difference..."

Y/n tuned the two out as she approached Namjoon and the dragon, gently removing its restraints after forming a collar and leash around its neck. He watched her with soft eyes, soaking in the way she handled the creature even though it was attacking them a few mere seconds ago.

He felt his heart thump loudly.

It had been like this lately, every little action she had made seemed to always affect him in some way. Like how she had tamed the dragon instead of stunning it, which was what he thought would be the best solution earlier. He shook his head.

He shouldn't. He couldn't. She was his best friend, after all.

He didn't want to ruin their friendship over the stupid feelings that appeared between the many years of them knowing each other.

He sighed and erased the thoughts, returning his attention to her fully as she called for him, "Joonie, can you open a portal straight to Hecate?" He nodded, forcing his veins to glow a light purple again as he pinpointed the coordinates of the academy. He tapped his foot on the ground lightly, his power running from underneath him to a few meters away from them, a large violet-brimmed portal growing for them to walk through.

Peeking through to the other side, they could see the nocturnal students heading to their classes and the last few senior diurnal students taking notice of it as they made their way back to their dorms. Among those students were Jungkook and another young man. Both of them unfolded their wings once they saw them and rushed away to inform the principal of the group's arrival. It wasn't a surprise that only the teachers and seniors roamed the courtyard at the current time. It was way past the juniors' curfew. The dark sky above them reminded Namjoon that despite the brightness of the dimension behind them, it was close to midnight in Australia. He pursed his lips, he was hoping he would be able to get some extra sleep after the night before where he stayed up half the night unpacking his luggage and catching up with his schedules and a few classes.

However, that was the least of his worries when he saw Principal Scherri hurrying over to them with an astounded and slightly horrified expression. The older woman let out a shout that echoed throughout the whole school.

"What is a Hell Dragon doing here?"
