Lay's POV
As usual in Ms. Na Rae's English class, it's one of those classes where most of the boys are together, noise and chattering filling the room. Luhan and Sehun were with Young Min during first period. Only if we could be together in one class, but all was impossible. About 10 minutes before 1st period began and everyone was sitting around. Je Ri then came in, with someone I least expected. Tao, of course. He had apparently done something to make her cry yesterday. Anyways, she and him was laughing about something. Despite that, I'm glad that they made up. I don't like when people have conflicts with each other.
"I'll talk to you later," I heard Je Ri said to Tao.
Tao smiled and went to his seat next to Kris. Je Ri greeted me happily as she sat down.
"Good morning Lay!" she said cheerfully.
"Good morning. Are you feeling better today?" I asked, not forgetting to smile.
"I'm fine, thanks," Je Ri replied.
She smiled brightly at me, and if it was only me, I'm sure it was more bright when she smiled at Tao or anyone else. Unless, I'm seeing things. I'm crazy.
"Lay, are you okay?" she asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yes, I'm great. Why?" I answered.
"Because, you're staring at me again..." Je Ri looked around the room, seeing if anything was weird going on.
She blushed slightly, but laughed.
"Oh, sorry. I tend to do that I guess," I said, laughing with her.
I awkwardly scratched the back of my head and averted my eyes somewhere else. I'm really going mental. Kyung Mi and her minions came in to class. Jin Ki looked sad though. Kyung Mi flashed Je Ri a glare and took her seat, followed by the two girls. Je Ri ignored them and turned her attention towards me.
"So, you made up with Tao?" I asked, changing the topic.
"Yeah," Je Ri simply replied.
Ms. Na Rae came in the class, then telling everyone to be quiet.
"Everyone, take out your books! You don't come to school to learn nothing!" she said, with a smile on her face.
The class quieted down. Sounds of people taking out their books was heard.
"So, in English class, what do we do? Learn English of course!" Ms. Na Rae said, starting to write on the board.
"We are starting a new unit on some complex writing, none other than on Shakesphere!"
The class groaned and a "Ugh, why do we have to do this?!" was heard.
"Shhh!" Ms. Na Rae hissed.
"This is good to learn how English is written today, rather than back then."
She put her hands behind her back, spun on her heels, and began pacing around, explaining things.
"Shakesphere is known for his plays," she began to speak in English.
Some people looked confused, for the ones who barely knew any English, and I barely understood. Je Ri was listening still, seeming to understand every word.
"Like the famous love story, Romeo and Juilet. Many plays have been adopted from this love story and of course from the dramas we make here in South Korea."
She continued to speak, and I poked Je Ri.
"Do you understand English?" I asked.
"Yeah. It's one of the langauges we speak back in-" Je Ri stopped.
