Ruins And Pieces

                                    

                                          
The moment Jin woke up, he quickly got out of bed and brushed his teeth and took a shower before getting dressed. He then went to Taehyung's room.
                          
Knock knock knock
                          
"Taehyung-ssi, are you awake?" 
                          
There was no response so he knocked again.
                          
Still, no response.
                          
"I'm coming in" Jin said before turning the door knob and pushing the door open. When he walked in, he heard water running in the bathroom but it didn't sound like it was coming from the shower. It sounded like it was coming from the faucet so Seokjin went over and knocked on the bathroom door.
                          
"Taehyung-ssi?" He called. In a matter of seconds, the bathroom door was opened and Jin was beyond shocked. 
                          
The man standing before him was not Taehyung.
                          
"Hoseok-ssi? What are you doing here? Where's Taehyung-ssi?" Jin asked as he crossed his arms over his chest. 
                          
"Who's Taehyung-ssi?" Hoseok asked with his toothbrush in his mouth. He had been brushing his teeth when Jin knocked
                          
"My bodyguard" Jin said, getting upset
                          
"You don't know?" Hoseok asked before spitting out the toothpaste in his mouth then rinsing out his mouth then his toothbrush before putting it away.
                          
"Know what?" Jin asked with an attitude. He had never like Hoseok so he always gave him attitude.
                          
"He quit" Hoseok said simply as he sidestepped Jin and walked into the bedroom before adding "That's why I'm back" 
                          
Hoseok was Jin's temporary bodyguard when Taehyung was given a week off to stay with his mother in the hospital. 
                          
Jin never liked him because he was filling Taehyung's position. In Jin's eyes, only one man was fit to be his bodyguard and that man was Kim Taehyung. 
                          
"What?!" Jin asked, doubtful of the older's words. There was no way his Taehyung would quit, there was no way his Taehyung would leave him.
                          
Last night, Taehyung said he would see him tomorrow, well today was that tomorrow and he can't see him if he left. 
                          
Jin didn't stay with Hoseok any longer. He ran out of the bedroom and towards his parents' bedroom. He needed answers.
                          
He knocked on the door but didn't wait for a reply before he entered. 
                          
He found his mom sitting on her bed with her back on the headrest, reading a book and he immediately ran towards her and got in bed next to her. 
                          
He knew that his father had already gone to work. That man was a workaholic.
                          
"Mom, Where's Taehyung-ssi? Why is Hoseok-ssi here and not him?" Jin asked after he settled down next to his mother on the bed, letting his back rest against the headrest.
                          
His mother put down her book and turned to face her son before taking his hand in hers. 
                          
"Honey, he handed in his resignation letter early this morning." She said, regretfully. She really did like Taehyung, he was one of the best employees they had.
