"Can everybody please copy what is on the board. I want a one and half thousand word essay on the use of Mandrake in potion making on my desk at the start of next class." Snape said, and groans were heard all around the room.

"Now-" The door swung open revealing a rather haggard looking Professor McGonagall. "Sorry Severus, I need to see Ms Lupin-Black, Mr Weasley and Mr Weasley." Snape looked annoyed, but nodded his head. Fred, George and Y/n looked at each other in a confused way. They collected their things anyway before following McGonagall out from the dungeon classroom.

"What's happened Professor?" George asked, as the three students struggled to keep up. McGonagall's facial expression changed to one of sorrow. "I will explain when we get there." she said, continuing to walk and still not looking at any of them.

"Get where?-" Fred asked, but his question was answered before it had finished leaving his mouth. As they turned a corner, they found that they had reached the hospital wing. "Now before you go in-" McGonagall started, but Y/n pushed past her. She hurried into the hospital wing, followed by a concerned looking pair of twins.

She looked up the row of beds. She spotted a head of raven hair, and hurried down to see Harry lying unconscious on the bed, a few cuts and bruises on his face.

"What happened?" She asked Madame Pomfrey, who had just bustled over to check Harry's condition. "I'm afraid it's not my place to say dear." She said sadly. "Will he be okay?" "Yes dear, he should wake up within the hour." She said before moving on to one of the other occupied beds.

Only now did Y/n look around to see who else was in the hospital wing. On the bed next to Harry, Hermione was sitting up, reading over one of her many books. Y/n noticed was a book on dangerous plants. She looked across the ward to see Ron sitting up in his bed, happily talking to Fred and George.

Next to Ron, was Neville, who was in a bad state. He had a lump on his head, not far from his lighting bolt scar, several cuts on his face, and was also passed out.

Y/n looked back to Hermione, who had now put her book down and was looking at her. "What happened to you all Hermione?"

"Well, um. We all went down into a trap door to stop Snape from getting the Philosopher's Stone." Y/n, who had done a lot of reading at her time at Hogwarts, knew at once of the Stone she was referring to. "Snape tried to steal the Philosophers stone? Wait, why was it at Hogwarts?"
