The next few weeks flew by quickly. Dumbledore would often steel Harry off for a private lesson. Apparently my mind was still too vulnerable to know all the information, but Harry usually told me, Ron, and Hermione everything once he got back anyways.
Draco and I hadn't seen each other yet. I didn't hear a word from him and he didn't spare me so much as a glance when we were near each other. It began to mess with my head a bit.
Disapparition lesson sign up sheet had been passed around and I was admittedly excited to try it. I had just arrived to the lesson and stood next to Hermione. We smiled at each other and the lesson began.
An hour later I was sweating profusely as I tried to get myself to move the last five feet into the hoop. I looked over to see Draco watching me with a smirk. That suddenly spiked my temper but I was already in the middle of apparating. I saw Draco's smile disappear as my world began to get jumbled.
I landed on the ground I began to scream in pain.
Hermione was the first one to me. My side had a chunk of flesh missing. It wasn't particularly deep thankfully, but it was bleeding heavily.
Draco was the next to me, his eyes searched mine as he tried to help Hermione stop the bleeding. The professor quickly made their way over. They took one look at me and ordered Draco and Hermione to take me to the medical wing quickly.
Once inside Madam Pompfry quickly tended to me. I was apparently the fifth splinch she'd seen today. She told the other two to return to there lesson but Draco refused. Hermione gave him a strange look as she asked to stay and watch how she mended them. She stayed for about a half hour then had to head back to class. Which was code for go get Harry. Great, he was going to start babying me all over again. Draco remained by my side throughout the afternoon. Madam Pompfry game up making him leave and left us alone as she tended to others. He sat down in a chair next to me and grabbed my hand.
"So much for keeping it under wraps." I giggle at him.
He gave a small smile.
"Well if you wouldn't give me a heart attack, maybe it could have worked." He said and tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear.
I rolled my eyes at him.
"We haven't spoken or even been with each other in weeks. You need to step up your game or I may just find someone else." I teased him.
His shoulders tightened in worry.
"Look I'm sorry, I really have to focus right now. You know I love you, it's just hard to balance everything and.." I cut him off by squeezing his hand.
"I was joking. Your fine. I understand completely so don't worry so much. I'll send Mira to you soon. We can arrange a way for me to get in Slytherin tower so we can spend nights together without being seen. Sound good?" I asked.
He nodded. Then sighed a placed his head in his hands.
"I don't know how much longer I can do this for." He told me.
Just as I was about to speak someone came busting through the doors. I couldn't see who over the dividers, but I heard the familiar voice of my brother frantically calling my name.
Draco hurriedly stood and quickly left passing my brother. I pretended to be asleep so he would think I didn't know Draco had been there. I heard him walk to my side and sit down.
"Adrena?" He asked quietly.
I pretended to wake.
"Hi Harry." I said quietly.
