"A strip club Eve? Are you serious right now?"
The woman shrug her shoulders in response. I should have expected something like this the moment the persistent model insisted or more like compelled me to get dressed into this- this ridiculous choice of clothing, that this was what she had up her sliver shimmery sleeves.
Sure it might have not been a bad idea if there were male strippers shaking their goods while I throw my hard earn money at them but these were only women dancing around in small pieces of cloth and not to mention the ones who choose to wear their birthday suit instead.
"You didn't want to meet a guy so I figured why not meet a girl instead. They're plenty here that will love to help you get over your troubles." She decide to say as she pour Navia a glass of brandy.
We were in a secluded VIP room with a sound proof glass where we could see everything that was happening below. It was like a little box section on each side of the walls with our own little bar.
"No thanks I'm positive that I'm still into men."
"Live a little sweetie. Tonight is your night, dance, enjoy and taking a girl to bed doesn't mean you're not into men anymore- it just means you are willing to try- new methods of getting over shit face, besides they're men here too. Take one, two are even three home with you."
"You my friend are intense." Navia laughs as I stare at my best friend wondering when she became this person.
"Why do I have a feeling you've done something like this before?"
Instead of answering she smirk and return her attention to the dancers. Navia and I shared a look not bothering to make further comments.
After being sulky in the corner of the room with a bottle of brandy which I clutch to my chest like a new born child, Navia and Evei decided to pull me out of my comfort zone much to my dismay, since currently my heart did not ache and Fisher could drown for all I care.
"Come on C, I'm sorry for what I said earlier just come and dance with us." The woman who was busy for the last fifteen minutes doing only God knows what beg as she tries to pull me up from my stool-chair when I stubbornly refuse to cooperate.
"Maybe this was a bad idea." Navia says watching the scene from a distance.
"Fine I'll spend half an hour here before I leave. My niece is coming over tomorrow and I refuse to let her see me looking like trash."
I follow the women down the stairs before we entered where everyone was having a good time. We start to dance which reminds me of when we were in highschool and had gotten fake identification cards so that we could go to the latest club.
Many people watch us, but one pair of eyes specifically burned into my skin like a flame. Something about the man seemed familiar, maybe if my brain wasn't in such a daze then I would figure out who he was.
"There's a sexy guy checking you out sweetie, why don't you go dance with him." Evei says from behind me.
"Yes Ciara I think you should definitely go for it." Navia who is dancing in front of me agrees before pushing me in the man direction.
Maybe they were right, I thought as I approach him. If it was any other time then I'm sure I would never do this but there was no space for rational thinking.
The neon light in the club made it a bit hard to see him properly, but it was obvious he was watching me with interest as he sits back on his stool-chair. He was wearing a white and grey suit, his white shirt out of place and his tie hang loosely around his neck. Before I had the chance to say a word I was pulled between his legs, one of his hands on my lower back and the other caress my cheek. I gasp at our proximate position.
"I never expected this kind of behaviour from you buttercup." His breath brushes against my right ear with every word he spoke.
It was at this moment that I figure out that this man was the second eldest brother of that little devil who had tried to touch my butt multiple times while I was at their mansion doing the interview and the very same man who was the reason for Bridget discourteous words toward me.
I pull away from him, he was wearing a smirk as his brown eyes travel from my legs to my face.
"You look delicious buttercup."
"How dare you!" I yell pulling away from him but he grip my waist pulling me back to him.
"How dare I what, buttercup? You were the one who approach me in that- dress. You should know that red is my favourite colour, the least you can do is give me a lap dance before you sway that sexy ass out of here."
I swallow as he trail his left hand down my rare. I remove it violently but that did not stop him from grinning and placing it back on my waist.
He was right I was the one who approach him but I had forgotten the reason as soon as I recognise him.
I don't plan on seducing this bastard no matter how much liquor I consume and no matter how much his touch affect me.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you Mr Haynes but I only came over because I thought you were someone else. The only thing I'm interested in doing is getting away from you."
"Is that so?" I watch as he lick his bottom lip, "Or maybe it's because you're not capable of doing such."
I had the sudden urge of gripping his neck and watch as he gasp for his last breath. Instead of arguing with him are thinking how much I want to strangle him I walk away from him.
Giovanni Haynes
Before she could walk away from me again I grasp her wrist pulling her between my thigh then wrapping my arms around her waist. She did not move and that brought a smile on my face.
I knew I said that I would leave her alone but I just can not seem to do that, especially when she is always on my mind.
I brush my nose lightly on the skin of her neck, she smell so good it was nothing like the other perfumes, it was enticing.
"Go out with me." I whisper in her ear.
She move her head slightly so that we were face to face. Our position was very much to my liking but it was taking all the strength I have not to kiss her lips that was so close.
"Why should I go out with you, when you interfered in my personal life and cause my sister to say such words to me?"
I smirk at her. She was very strong, even though I could feel her radial pulse beating wild against my index and middle finger she still manage to keep it cool and talk to me in such a rude tone.
Her sister however was just no good and would have probably spoke to her rudely even if I did not interfere. I was familiar with women like her and no doubt was she just jealous of her sister. Jealous that a man as handsome as myself with such wealth can find interest in her sister and not her.
I had done some research on the man she was with, Fisher something, he is the founder of Rabis Ltd a company that makes poisonous sprays called Rabis to get rid of pesticides, which I find ironic, a pest making chemicals to get rid of pests. It made him a millionaire and women like Ciara's sister were attracted to such.
"Just once buttercup, if you do then I'll leave you alone and you'll never see me again." I say knowing damn well that I will be able to impress her the first time so much that she'll be the one begging for my attention.
I am also hoping that after being with her for just one time then I'll be able to forget about her.
She place her hands on my shoulder and move her lips to my ear. "Or I could decide not to go out with you and then get a restraining order against you, either way you'll leave me alone and I'll never see you again."
I watch as she play with my tie while staring at me with a sweet smile before releasing herself from my hold that was not so strong as before.
She sway her hips as she walk away from me and there was nothing more that I could do than to gaze at her. No doubt Ciara Mendes is going to be one hell of a challenge.
