Y/N POV

I just watch as everything in and around my home disintegrates, but the frame of it still standing... And I pretend I don't notice Thomas briefly raise his brows.

Thomas:"I assume you have a backup plan for this."

Y/n:"I've never not had one."

When I look at him, for the first time, I can read his expression, and I can tell he had so many questions.

Y/n:"You're frustrated."

Thomas:"What makes you say that?"

Y/n:"You can't find a thing about me."

Thomas:"I know you're a part of something bigger, but I don't know what," he says and I almost chuckle.

Y/n:"Well, I know a bit you, H... Or at least, about your little empire here."

Thomas: "Try me."

Y/n:"The main crime you commit is mass production and distribution of drugs and weaponry..."

Thomas:"Yet no one here uses drugs, or you're dead."

Y/n:"But that's probably where most of your revenue stems from, but I wouldn't be surprised if you owned a few normal businesses, like restaurants and clubs."

He nods once, whether that meant in agreement or just for me to continue, I'm not sure.

Y/n:"I guess there's also murder... But you only kill people who, debatedly, deserve it, and people who mess with you... But you don't just go killing innocent poeple like gangs trying to prove something."

He almost scoffs, but I think out of amusement.

Y/n:"And you take care of your people... I can only assume that you've purchased them all homes and they've all got a pretty generous income."

Thomas:"Anything else?"

Y/n:"It wasn't always like this though... You're a new generation that doesn't tolerate... Prostitution or human trafficking... Your type of organized crime relies soley on products and justifiable hits."

Thomas:"I will neither confirm or deny anything."

Y/n:"I'd expect nothing less," I smirk, "Now... What do you have to say about me?"

Thomas:"Well, how much you know reveals a lot."

Y/n:"So you admit that I've spoken some truth?"

He opens his mouth to speak, but closes it... Then we hear someone's voice... Over an intercom?

Hunter:"Hey doc, Harrison needs assistance."

I purse my lips and just head for the door, but I hear Thomas follow and we walk together in silence.

Harrison:"Aw, doc, you miss me already?" He says as soon as I walk into his room.

I just smile and shake my head at his playful persona.

Thomas:"How are you doing?"

Harrison:"Ah, I'm fine, Tom. The doc took real good care of me," he offers a wink.

Y/n:"I can undo everything I did, Harrison."

Harrison:"Jeez. Easy, doc, I'm just playing."

Y/n:"So what'd you need me for?"

Harrison:"I think I'm good for a lower morphine dosage now... Don't need any dependence risks."
