Namjoon groaned in pain as they hit another bump in the wagon. "I told you you should have let me ride" seokjin said smartly from up ahead pulling the wagon. Namjoon had sore muscles and was basically useless in the wagon. The softer ones loving it. Jungkook and Jimin cuddling his sides constantly. Taehyung and Yoongi walking behind the wagon to make the load lighter for the two pulling it despite the cat and fox saying it was fine. 
                          
Yoongi began swinging their connected hands while happily humming. He got on his tip toes to kiss his cheek making Taehyung giggle and ask dumb questions.
                          
"What's the weirdest hybrid you've ever seen?" He asked snickering.
                          
"Well I'll have you know that dolphins look rather dumb. Their dorsal fin looks like it comes off their head and they have a thick tail so they look awkward" he said giggling as Taehyung looked at him like he was crazy. 
                          
"I don't believe you" he gasped out 
                          
"That's what mermaids are" he said smugly. Taehyung's world being shook again. 
                          
"That's crazy" he said shaking his head in disbelief. Yoongi smiled pulling him along. "Tell me something about how you met Jimin," he asked fondly.
                          
Taehyung thought about if for a moment grinning. "Well I'm from a farming family. We were of the lower class, but we had enough. I fell in love with the village chiefs son who was very wealthy, Jimin. It took so much convincing a whole year for him to even talk to me" he blushed looking down. "He kissed me first though. Said I took too long. It was right after I got off from working the fields and i looked awful but i was so worried that I would be late so I didn't clean up and rushed to his house where he was waiting of the porch for me...I asked him to marry me right there. He laughed at me until he started crying saying he didn't know. A few months later he showed up at the farm when I was moving some hay and told me yes" Yoongi cooed his heart melting at the story. 
                          
He grabbed Taehyung's face kissing him on the lips "and you met me naked and stealing your clothes" he joked as Taehyung kissed him back and nodded "i wouldn't change it though" he said honestly. 
                          
"Good" Yoongi said looking deep into his chocolate eyes. 
                          
"Come on love birds we don't have all day" Namjoon shouted and they scurried to catch up causing the other hybrids to chuckle at them. Blushing red Taehyung stuck out his tongue to defend his honor.
                          
"Did we ever steal a map?" Taehyung asked trying to change the topic from making him embarrassed.
                          
"No but I looked at it" Jin said from the front. "We follow the river through the forest and through the desert until we reach mountains and another jungle forest. That's the safe zone over the second set of mountains" he said.
                          
"Desert?" Yoongi asked nervously. 
                          
"The river goes straight through so we will at least have water, but we will be very hot" he told them.
                          
"And sunburned" Jimin grumbled. 
                          
"It shouldn't be that bad though. We will follow a river so perhaps trees and shade" he said hopeful.
                          
Jungkook rolled his eyes and the cat growled at him a bit asserting dominance. They didn't do it often but it always made the squirrels tail bristle. 
                          
"Whatever you say pussy cat," Jungkook smirked knowing he was safe straddling Namjoon's waist. 
                          
"I'll beat your ass," Jin grumbled turning and pulling the cart faster now with Hoseok struggling to keep up. 
                          
"I won't save you later," Namjoon said softly opening his eyes. Jungkook grinned sheepishly and kissed his cheek.

Hoseok huffed "I'm done" he said dropping the wagon handle "it's night and I'm hungry" he pouted.
                          
Jin nodded wiping the sweat off his forehead turning to Jungkook and narrowing his eyes. Hoseok huffed turning the cats attention back to the fox. "I'm sorry baby" he said walking to the wagon and pulling the top off a barrel and taking the dried meat and handing it out. "I'll go hunting tonight to get fresh meat" he said softly. Dark circles deep under his eyes. 
                          
"Baby, it can wait" Namjoon said.
                          
"No we need fresh food before we reach the desert" he told him. He took a bite of the dried meat and frowned because it wasn't seasoned.
                          
He took a drink of water before started to walk out into the forest. They all watched him knowing he wouldn't stop. "I'm worried about him," Jimin said softly chewing on the meat. He picked up a leaf Jungkook handed him and he munched on it. 
                          
"He will be fine" Yoongi said climbing onto the wagon wincing and pulling his thumb to his mouth frowning. "I got a splinter" he whined as Jungkook carefully crawled over and pulled the thumb close to his eyes and plucked the thorn from his flesh. 
                          
"Thanks," He said kissing the squirrel. 
                          
"I want a kiss," Namjoon whined and puckered his lips sarcastically as the mouse kissed his lips. 
                          
Taehyung moves to lay his head on Jimin's lap letting the human comb his fingers through his hair. He grabbed his hand seeing the wedding band still on his fourth finger and smiling endearingly knowing Jimin still remembered what they all went though. 
                          
"I love you," Jungkook suddenly whispered in Taehyung's ear making him jump a bit causing the cart full to laugh. He whined out "so mean" he said. He closed his eyes as Jimin's bell like giggle played in his ears.

Jin walked back to camp after washing up and cleaning the kills. He even brought some nuts and berries along with a deer. He saw his mates already asleep and he fondly smiled as he stored the food neatly and climbed into the wagon. He picked up Jungkook who flopped around still asleep. 
                          
He carried him off far into the woods. The squirrel wrapping his arms and legs around him naturally. He slowly rubbed his back waking him up. This was something that Taehyung and Jimin hadn't known. The hybrids did a good job of hiding this, lucky the two humans didn't need this yet.
                          
"Jungkook" he firmly said holding his waist.
