"Judge Blossom, the rest of the Jury and I decided that Asher and Ashton Black are not guilty of the murder of Lili Anderson. Bail for the both of them is set at one million." The jury said.
"Alright. Should we take a recess or move onto the next case that is along the lines of this case?" Blossom Asked. "Next case." I said. "You stay there Ashleigh." He said. I huffed and nodded.
"Normally you just pay to get a record expunged but, I must ask why?" Blossom Asked. My mother looked worried thinking I'd say something along the lines, to make it harder on the Andersons to arrest my brothers. Then I realized everyone else was like that. "Well my brothers are innocent. They deserve to have a good future. If that is on their records then they won't get a good job and be able to support their future family." I said.
"Alright. Jury. What is the given amount for Asher and Ashton Black's records to be expunged?" Blossom Asked. "For the both of them together. It's one hundred thousand dollars." The jury said.
"Next case. It's a quickie. A restraining order has been filed against the Andersons by Ashleigh Black." Blossom said. The Andersons glared at me and I held back my smirk.
My brothers were holding in their laughs because they know how I am. "May we ask why Ashleigh? And please. Stay in line. And be appropriate." He said.
I was quiet for a moment thinking about how to say that. Then I had an idea of words. "To protect my brothers, my family, and to keep them away. So they could stop harassing us." I said. Ashton looked down while biting his lip.
"Why did it take you so long to respond?" The Anderson lawyer asked. "Oh. Because the judge said to stay in line and be appropriate. So I had to rephrase my nice, little answer." I said.
"I'd like to hear what she has to say. I don't care how rude or how mean." Mr.Anderson said. "It's up to her." Blossom said.
"Alright. Be prepared. It might sting. Just a little. Alright. To keep the Andersons far away from my family and keep their pesky asses away from me and my family. To stop them from interfering with our lives because they know something about their daughters murder. But, they can't tell a word. So they find two boys. Pin it on them. Ruin their lives and their family lives and think that nothing is going to happen. Well maybe you old hags should of thought of that before you messed with my family. Because. It's not over." I said.
It was quiet. Blossom was looking down trying to contain himself while my brothers did the same. The jury was snickering here and there but, trying to hide it while the Andersons looked humiliated.
"Is that a threat?" Mr. Anderson said outraged. "No. No. Don't take it that way. It's something I'd." I stopped when the vipers walked in but, they sat on my family's side. So they know my brothers aren't guilty.
"Continue shorty." Rose said. "Shut it hag. It's not a threat and don't take it that way and don't turn it around that way. I think of it something different. Something I would like to call a promise. That's if you hags aren't to old and cruel and cursed to know what a promise is. I mean I could break it down down for you." I said.
Their faces were so red with anger. The vipers looked amused. "You killed our daughter." Rose said. "I was at the diner during Lili's murder. We might have not been close but, I'd still never hurt Lili. I wouldn't kill her." I said.
"What about all those fights you get in at school. You covered up two last year and yesterday?" Mr.Anderson said.
"Oh. Nice. Your stalking me too. The fights. Maybe people shouldn't piss me off." I said. "Well if your anger is that bad then maybe you killed my daughter." Rose said.
"I can control my anger. I don't kill. I fight. In defense. Lili didn't mess with me. I didn't mess with her." I said. The vipers were looking at me.
"Yeah whatever. You killed my baby. I know you did." Rose cried. She was trying to push me and it was working but, I wasn't going to burst.
"Then you know wrong. I didn't kill your child. Lili Anderson didn't deserve to die this soon no matter how bitchy she was." I said.
"Alright. Anderson sit down. Ashleigh I let you use some of that fire you have in you but, now it's time to get back in line." Blossom said.
"For now." I muttered. "What is it Clover?" Blossom sighed. "A restraining order won't stop us from getting you arrested for murdering our daughter Ashleigh. It won't keep us away. And you. Your poor." Clover said. Blossom stayed quiet. I stood up.
"Well guess what you old hags. It's going to come back and bite you both in the asses. For lying to the police. Breaking laws. Oh I know a little secret that Lili might have gossiped about. Arresting my brothers for false accusations. Like. Murdering Lili. And making more false accusations like accusing me of killing Lili. You can try and send your little hit men after me. But, I would really like to see you try. The fight is on Andersons." I said before sitting down.
"What secret?" Rose said. "No rose. It could be something private." Clover said. "Speak up Ashleigh. Might as well get it off your chest." Blossom said slightly scared from my little rant.
"Oh just that mr little innocent Clover Anderson thought he could try and force his daughter in a relationship with a fuckboy and she wasn't having it because she was in love with Queen Hoax. And pregnant." I said.
It was dead silent. I leaned back. "What are you saying? That we killed our daughter." Rose said outraged with tears spilling down her face. "I didn't say that. I'm just saying that maybe you found out. Maybe you guys got in a fight. Maybe it got a little physical. Maybe a little to physical. Maybe someone got hurt and couldn't get help or maybe she was killed in cold blood by someone who might or might not be family blood." I said.
The vipers were full on amused. Cole looked a little uncomfortable that his dad was here but, I gave him a reassuring smile. "I'm sorry. Isn't this for a restraining order." Clover said.
"I was letting you guys fight some so your anger isn't as strong towards each other." Blossom said.
"Well why isn't the mother or brothers speaking?" Clover said. "Because they aren't as angry as me . They are defined as angry. I'm... defined as pissed. The most mad you could get." I said.
"Look. You can't do anything. Your poor. How will you bail them anyway?" Rose said.
I pulled the two checks out of my purse. "Well with these of course. What else?" I Asked with that really evil smirk.
So maybe I live mostly like bad Betty cooper. Like the bad ass side.
"Where did you get the kind of money?" Clover said. "She stole from me. Didn't you darlin." My dad said.
"Oh no. I'm not that much of a cold hearted bitch that everyone says I am. Nana passed her will down to me. And with a few more secrets. Clover. You've been a very bad man." I said pulling a flash drive out of my purse.
"What is that?" Blossom Asked. "Proof that Clover Anderson killed his own daughter. His own blood. Not only Lili Anderson but, her twins and Queen Hoax. Then a few secrets I should spill. That barrels of so called rum. It's drugs and well more drugs. Go ahead. Search him." I said while handing the drive to the guard.
Everyone was quiet as blossom and the sheriff watched the video. My so called father stared at me. "Ashleigh. What the hell are you doing? Trying to get yourself killed." He said. "What!? Is this you protecting us again. I doubt it." I said and I stopped when my mom gave me the look of not yet.
