"Why would I need make up? It's just us." She looked confused but started putting foundation on anyways. It was clear that Salma loved make up. "And I agree that you can't put on makeup"

"Well thanks for the support, and you need make up because we are celebrating."

"Celebrating what?" She put some eyeliner on.

"Something but we need to ask your permission first."

"Noor, you're making me more confused. What's going on?" She finished her makeup, which was only consisted of some eyeliner, foundation and lipstick.

"You will know, let's go."

"Ughhh, Noor I will go crazy with you" She muttered but followed me nonetheless.

"Yeah, yeah." I waved my hand, dismissing her.

We entered the dining room, seeing the table set and the men sitting and talking with each other.

"Did you guys set the table?" I asked.

"Yeah, you guys took some time, so we decided to set the table or else we'd die of hunger by the time you two came and set everything up." Yusuf said, I went over to him and gave him a kiss on his cheek.

"Thank you." I whispered in his ear "For everything"

"You're welcome" He kissed my forehead and smiled at me.

"Okay guys, no PDA, there is still people here. You can do whatever you want privately," Ameen said, making a disgusted face at us.

"You only say that because you're jealous." I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Pfftt, as if" He scoffed.

"Oh, come one, don't tell me that you're not dying to get married to the special lady" I wriggled my eyebrows at him.

"What special lady?" I heard, Salma speak for the first time.

"Oh, you didn't know? Ameen here is getting married. He just needs the confirmation of the special lady" I said, looking at Salma as I said "special lady".

"Really, Noor? Could you be more obvious? We will tell her after lunch." Ameen said sounding irritated with me.

Meh, whatever.

"But why not now, Ameen? Why later?" I questioned, wanting to tell Salma now.

"Guys, could you please not talk in codes, and not pretend that I'm not here?" I heard Salma exclaim with a huff next to me.

"Yeah Noor, let's just drop it. Ameen will tell her after lunch," Yusuf said taking my hand -that was on the table- in his.

I smiled and nodded.

"Yalla Bismillah (in the name of Allah), dig in. Oh and it's Salma's food. She cooks better than me; you will eat your own fingers after it, just a warning." I winked at Ameen, who just glared back.

We all started to eat the various kinds of food on the table, Salma really did work hard for this, I feel kind of bad, but the food was just too good to make me regret anything.

When we all finished lunch, I decided to wash the dishes and let Salma rest. Yusuf helped me as well, leaving Salma and Ameen alone for a little while, but we could hear them talking.

"SO...How have you been?" I heard Ameen say. I stifled a giggle at how awkward he sounded.

"I have been well, Alhamdulillah." Salma replied.

"That's good..." Ameen trailed off.

"How about you, how have you been? I heard you had a meeting with Yusuf today, how did that go?" Salma asked. Well now. Who's better at the small talking.
