A/N PART2:
Uncharacteristic Jer violence. 😅
☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️"I love you, sweetie. I'll work this out, don't you worry...," he quickly hung up the phone and slid it back into his pocket. Walking down the silent sidewalk in the dead of night, peering into every nook and cranny that seeping street light would allow. Each glance, meticulously studied. Every door was an entrance, every window an invitation. Now all that's missing is the perfect timing....

Kash:
"Freddie!!," I shake his shoulders as he continues to cry in his sleep.
"Cherie...?," he mumbles back, but still has his eyes closed tightly.
"Fred! Wake up!!,"
My brothers eyes pop open with a gasp. His hair is matted to the sides of his head drenched in sweat. I had come to collect Dads car, when I heard his shouting and cries from the living room. His eyes dart around the semi- dark room. The daylight is just barely breaking outside.
Freddie doesn't respond to me right away. Though he tries, the only thing that comes out of his mouth is mumbling rambles and something about Cherie. I raise my hand to his forehead, he feels so sick.
"Freddie, you're burning up!," I unwrap him from the thick blanket that is tangled around his body. He's covered in sweat so much that even the blanket is wet.
"Cherie?,"
"No, Freddie it's me, Kash. Where is Cherie?,"
"Oh, god, Kash! I just had the most hollow feeling in my chest! I dreamed that she left, that she was back at her old club job, everyone hated me, even the twins!,"
He covers his face with his hands and leans into the pillows. I can't tell if his groans are from the fever or from remembering his dream. It's very early in the morning for Cherie to be off at work and the twins not to be asleep.
"You're sick, Fred. It was probably a crazy nightmare. I'm going to go make you some tea and see what's in the medicine cabinet.," I tell him as I rise from the edge of the couch and walk towards the kitchen.
I decide to call Cherie to see where she could possibly be at this hour. I really hope she's out to get Freddie some kind of medicine. She's really been so stressed out over my dear brother, but truthfully he has been a bit messy.
The phone rings three times before she answers. She sounds nervous to speak to me, which I find kind of odd.
"Cherie, where are you? Freddie is burning up wit a fever and he's just been laid on the couch alone.,"
