Kaeden POV
Penelope and Jed led me out of the office and they began to walk down the hall with me trailing behind them. I didn't know what to say to these guys they seem like they had somewhere better to be and I didn't want to be burden.
"So new kid, your a hybrid?" Penelope asked me, while glancing over her shoulder.
"Yea I guess," I replied not sure how I'm suppose to feel about being a new supernatural being.
"Don't feel weird, we've got a tribrid," She said, as we turned the corner to walk towards what looked like classrooms,
Jed still hasn't spoken yet, I feel so weird about it though, Penelope was all kepy smirking while Jed for the most part kept a blank face, but I saw a few odd looks every time we turned a corner,
"A what?" I asked raising my eyebrows in confusion
"You'll meet her later," she said stating the obvious, "trust me when I say, you can't miss her, the one and only, Hope Mikaelson,"
"Mikaleson? As in the original vampires, Mikaelsons?" I ask her and she nods her whilst smiling at me,
"Yup and she's only the tip of the iceberg, so allow me to show what else our dear school as to offer," Penelope say as she dramatically gestures to the school,
Before I can said anything she comes over and laps her arm in mine and began the tour, whilst Jed drifted behind us and continued to say nothing but on occasion I caught him glancing at me.
One school tour, with All the Snarky Penelope Parker remarks later...
"And this brings us back to main hall in the entrance" she says struggling, I could tell she was tired.
"This place seems cool" I said very impressed at the school.
"It is, but I gotta bounce, I was in the middle of a very interesting red burn book, and it was just getting interesting so catch you later," she said waving as she turn her back to her towards her dorm I assumed.
I looked around the hall taking in my new surrounding, which would become my new life. Maybe this place could be fine, I was so accustomed to my mother teaching me magic stuff, so this would be good and new for me. I came out of my thought to see my mother walking coming towards me.
"So, do you like it here?" My mom asked with a face of worry,
"It's really cool here mom, but do I seriously have to go here?" I pleaded,
"Alaric and the teachers here can help you way better than myself or your father could have," she stated plainly.
Nodding at her words, I wrapped her in a hug and kissed her cheek, trying to hold back the tears.
"I love you baby, I'll call you when I get to airport" she said as she was walking toward the door.
"Okay love you too!" I shouted as she walked out the school and into the hired car.
In a matter of minutes she was gone and I was alone standing in the main entrance. My mind began to worry, I was scared that I couldn't control my power without her help. Maybe they can help me but what of something bad happens, what if I kill someone here. My eyes fell to the ground as my thoughts and now rising fears consumed me. I began to fidget with my hands anxiously wondering what this place will have in store for me, until I felt a presence next to me, I looked up, noticing him standing there with a blank expression yet still exuding an authoritative attitude.
"Well new kid, now that your here to stay, you have one thing to do," Jed says to me as his eyes roam up and down my body, until his eyes land on my lips then up to my eyes again,
