I don't understand why Bella thinks she can just come and go out of Jacob's life as she pleased. I don't even know of she understands the pain that she had put him through, when she would keep leading him on. I know that she knew that Jacob had feelings for her, and I hope that all those feelings that he had for her were gone. I know that it's terrible of me to think that, but I feel like that I just got him back, the old Jacob that I grew up with. I don't know what I would do if he pushed me to the side again.
I feel like now that he won't push me away again, after what I heard him tell Sam. Even if I don't fully understand everything, or know everything yet. I just feel like I have him all back again and I don't have to be scared that anyone can take him away from me, or the fact that I won't like them take him away from me again.
"Jacob what time is it?" I asked, trying to get his attention away from her, or atleast try to distract him for a moment.
"Um." He paused as he pulled out his phone from his pocket. "10:30." He simple answered and I lightly nodded my head.
"I need to get home." I tell him as he put his phone back in his pocket. I could see the smile he was trying to hide, I think he had picked up on my lie. Iy was the weekend, and my mother had grown use to me staying at Jacob's for a whole weekend when I was younger, so why would this faze her now.
"You want me to take you?" He asked me, even if he didn't truly know the answer or if I actually needed to be home or not.
"Please, it's better than walking." I spoke with a soft smile. He softly smiled down at me and nodded his head before turning his head to look back st Bella.
"I'll try to call you later Bella. Okay?" He told her and he began to walk off, not even caring to wait for her reply. I tried my best to hide my snug smirk as I moved to walk next to him.
On the way he took my hand and intertwined our fingers together, he kept his eyes forward as we wapked off in the distance. I heard the truck start and pull off, gravel being flown by the tires as she clearly tried to hurry to get out of here. I smirked and felt a sense of victory, because for once I haf beaten Bella for Jacob's time.
"You don't have to go home do you?" He asked me and I smiled, he smiled and rolled his eyes as I answered.
"No." I tell him and he kisses the top of my head, letting out a small chuckle.
"You're the best." He tells me and I gave off a big smile.
"I know." I with a small laugh, before a light shiver ran down my back. It was already cold out and getting colder, especially now since the sun had gone down. I don't know why it had taken me so long to actually notice it, but my mind had been so distracted before
"Are you cold?" I could tell by the tone of his voice that it would match a worried look in his eyes.
"I'll be fine." I gave off a small white lie, I don't fully know why I lied in the frist place, I guess I didn't want him to worry. I think he knew I was lying, because he always knows when I'm lying, no matter how hard I try to hide it.
"Come on we're going inside." He tells me, holding his arm out, waiting for me to take it.
"But, I don't want to." I whined, although going inside into the warmth didn't seem so much of a bag idea. I know if I didn't go in at some point soon, I could possibly catch a cold, because it always seems that I am the easiest person to get sick.
"Fine, then what do you want to do?" He asked me, shocking that he had given in so easily. It was normal for him to put up a fight, like I wouod do if the tables were turned.
"I don't care." I tell him with a light shrug of my shoulders.
"Alright." He said befote kissing the top of my head once again before we walked over to the garage.
There were parts everywhere, it stuck in the mess that it normally was. There were parts laid all in different areas, the floor was covered, the table was covered. As he always put it, it was organized chaos, and there was no changing his mind. There was lucky a free spot on one of the tables, the spot that I always sit at when we're in here. I think that he always left clean just for me, since it was basically labeled my spot.
"Trying to restore another bike?" I asked him and he shrugged his shoulder. It seemed that he was always doing so many projects at once, I can never keep up on what he was working on.
"It's just a hobby." He said letting go of my hand picking my a part. I walked over and jumped up, sitting on the counter, watching him as he looked down at the part.
"We're gonna have to find you a new hobby." I joked with a small laugh. "A cleaner hobby."
