"welcome to paradise," daniel announced as he flung open the curtains that covered the glass doors that led out to the patio, and then the beach.
                          
audrey steppes forward, looking at the ocean with awe. "holy shit," she breathed, touching the glass. "wow."
                          
"i know," daniel said, falling backwards onto the large king sized bed in the room. "it's wow."
                          
audrey unzipped her suitcase, looking for her pain meds as she also started unpacking some clothes for later in the evening, when daniel had told her everyone would be going out to eat at a fancy restaurant.
                          
"c'mere, love, i wanna cuddle," daniel said, holding his hands up in the air, waiting for audrey to join him. 
                          
"in a minute, babe, i'm getting stuff ready for the evening."
                          
daniel waited, eyes closed with a small smile on his lips. "you know, you never said anything to me about my hair."
                          
audrey laughed, knowing that daniel would have brought that up. she made sure not to say anything about his newly blonde hair. 
                          
"it's hot, but i'm a hoe for the brown," audrey said. daniel laughed, shaking his head. "i can't believe you didn't even give my hair a second glance at the airport."
                          
"well, i already knew about it, you posted it on your insta, idiot."
                          
"but still, i was expecting some reaction."
                          
"i have a great poker face, also i was more excited to actually see you today."
                          
"wow, you're so sweet."
                          
"i know." audrey said, carefully placing her body next to daniel's wrapping her good arm around him. "i'm just so sweet."
                          
daniel opened his eyes, looking at audrey, whose face was buried in the crook of his neck. "you wanna do something?" he asked quietly. 
                          
"mmm, no," audrey mumbled. "but we should shower."
                          
"i wouldn't mind that."
                          
"neither would i, because we stink," audrey said, getting up. "we need to shower."
                          
"so can we shower? together?" daniel asked. 
                          
audrey rolled her eyes, "no, not together."
                          
daniel sighed, "fine, you go first."
                          
"lazy ass," audrey muttered as she got up, grabbing a towel. "get your clothes out."
                          
daniel turned the television on as audrey turned the water on in the shower, the warm water soothing her muscles. 
                          
fifteen minutes later, she stepped out, wrapping her towel around her. she walked out, daniel still watching tv. 
                          
"go take a shower, you lazy ass," audrey said, trying to put her clothes on as fast as possible. "the others will be here soon."
                          
daniel groaned, getting up and grabbing his stuff before walking inside the bathroom. "we could've saved water and showered together," he called out.
