The whole restaurant was booked by the two families. The table was set, and the food was served by the waiter, first to come was the entrée.
                          
A concern look from his sister who was sitting right next to him, was caught by his eye tail. Although he might knew what it means, he chose to ignore it and began to savors the meal that was served before him. 
                          
He might regretted his innocence for buying straight what his father told him about the 'family dinner' that turns out to be not just for his family but also The Hwang. 
                          
"What a lovely evening to spend with my family and dearest colleagues. Or should I say, soon to be my family." President Hwang recited.
                          
President Jeon replied, "The pleasure is ours, thank you for inviting our family Ji Hyuk-ah."
                          
Afterwards, their family continued to enjoy the dinner, the mothers are busy talking about their bags or diamonds, Junghwan and Soojung were talking with Min Hyun, meanwhile Yee Eun and Jungkook were just exchanging awkward glances.
                          
The waiters came back again with the final course. The five star michellin dessert created by the famous chef himself was served before them. Jungkook dig his spoon to cut the caramel ball open when his father came out with his most hated topic.
                          
"Ah, I almost forget about our main topic for tonight's dinner." President Jeon glanced at his son. "Now that Yee Eun has returned from Canada, we finally can discuss about the engagement."
                          
Yee Eun brought her gaze to Jungkook who was just busy eating his dessert regardless the ongoing conversation. Anxiety filled her whole nerve. What if he rejects this engagement? Even though this was planned long ago back when they were still in high school, she was still not sure that Jungkook would just agree with this. Things has changed between them, there's someone else in his heart. And that would be an obstacle for both of them to carry on with this engagement. 
                          
Mrs. Hwang looked at her beautiful daughter, "I'm sure this is the moment my daughter has been waiting for since she got back from Canada."
                          
Those words were right, Yee Eun really did wait for this moment. The only thing that keeping her hope high when she fights her illness in Canada is this engagement. The one she promised herself she would be ready for. "Yes, Mom." She gave her mom a smile.
                          
"And I'm sure this is what Jungkook has been waiting for too, right, Son?" And now it's his stepmother, Mrs. Jeon's turn to ask him. 
                          
He looked at his stepmother's hopeful face. Ever since he was a little, ever since his father brought him to the mansion, Mrs. Jeon took him as if she was the one who gave birth to him. The day his real mother died, was the day The Jeon got the information about his existence. Jungkook was this illegitimate child from President Jeon and his first love affair.
                          
His mother was President Jeon's first love, but fate had to separate them because President Jeon was arranged to marry the woman his family wanted. Another business ally created by The Jeon. From that marriage, President Jeon has two beautiful children those are Junghwan and Soojung. 
                          
But fate played its game towards the two. Years after the marriage, President Jeon met his first love again at the garden of chrysanthemum in Changdeokgung Palace. He never forgets her, nor did she. And from that beautiful reunion, President Jeon got Jungkook. The little one who got his first love's eyes.
