audrey put her phone down with a smile, getting up and stretching. 
                          
"where are you going?" daniel mumbled, his voice raspy and sleepy. "stay with me."
                          
"i can't, i'm going out with the girls," audrey said, placing a kiss on daniel's forehead. "i'm gonna take a shower and get ready."
                          
"can i come with you?" daniel asked, his eyes still not open. 
                          
"no, bub, it's just the girls. i'll text you, okay? get some sleep."
                          
daniel didn't answer, and audrey realized he was already asleep. 
                          
she walked into the bathroom, brushing her teeth and stepping into the shower. the warm water eased her sore muscles, and after a few minutes, she steppped out, her hair now wet. 
                          
she got dressed and decided to put makeup on, the usual, with some highlight and lip gloss. lastly, audrey pulled out the black swimsuit that she had bought in new york and put it in a tote bag.
