He was a human. He was alive, barely. He had on a ragged grey cloak, painted with snow, and held nothing but a steel knife.
"What are you doing alone out in the cold." He ignored me and continued to stare blankly. The man looked weak and tired.
"I can give you food and warm clothes, just come with me." Finally he turned my way. I was stunned to see the man was covered in blood. He dropped his knife and charged me and as I drew long claw he fell to my feet. He looked up at me.
"They killed them." He said, "They killed them all." Before I could question him he fell on his back dead. I quickly noticed a stab wound in his chest. The blade penetrated through his whole body. I began to think about what the man said. "They killed them all."
I ran back to the group to find Tormund. I found him sitting on a log sharpening his dagger. The snow made his beard stand out almost like fire.
"Tormund" I began, moving closer to him so I could avoid panic from the people around him.
"Yes?" He stated with his strange accent.
"We've got a problem" I said, "Follow me."
I brought him to the place where it happened. It was much colder than it was when I was there earlier. The place felt very distant empty. I had felt this feeling many times before.
"You've brought me all this way for nothing Jon Snow?" He had a confused look on his face. I was also confused, as I couldn't find there mans body. I soon saw blood-stained snow about twenty-feet from where we were.
"It is just some blood?" He said, "You've been shaking like a baby because of some blood? Does blood scare you now little crow?"
My heart sunk. I didn't understand, I watched him die? How could he not be there?
Before I could tell him he tackled me onto the snow and shoved my head into the ground. "You've gotten weak Jon Snow!" He said as he laughed at me. Maybe I have, I thought.
I immediately pushed him away and stumbled up onto my feet. I brushed the snow off of my cloak and spit the snow out of my mouth.
"There was someone here." I said with a serious tone in my voice.
"And nows there's not." He quickly argued, "Probably just got up and walked away."
"I saw him die Tormund. He had a stab would that went through his whole body."
"Someone probably carried him off you..." I was quickly interrupted by a sudden change in the air. The temperature dropped and the water next to us was immediately turned to ice. A fog was cast over us.
No way I thought, he's dead. I looked to Tormund. He had a fright in his eyes that I've never seen before. He was looking right past me.
I turned immediately. The sight was horrifying. I thought that I must have been dreaming, but it was no dream.
It was something he's seen many times before looking at him. Blue eyes.
