Last night I had to go pick Elena up because she was expelled from school for fighting and charged with assault along with public disorderly conduct and it was late so I didn't get to talk about it with her until this morning
"And now that stupid ass fight all over social media" she sighed, putting her head in her hands. I slid her phone back to her, finishing watching a video of the fight and and continued to bounce Kemoni on my left leg while we sat at the kitchen table
"Lena. You know I love you with everything in me but I gotta be real with you, you still love Kd. Don't you"
She started to chew on her bottom lip and dropped her head
"Yes, I do"
"Now that girl that was talkin bout me. I ain't worried bout her because I still got Kentrell and he ain't going nowhere but you, you not okay. No matter how laid your hair is, how cute you get and how many bomb ass pictures you post looking unbothered, you're really not okay Elena. You and Kd need to really talk about this because shits getting outta control now"
"I know. I don't even know what ima do now"
I could hear Kentrell laugh as he walked into the kitchen "try getting a job"
I looked back at him and made a face. Kemoni turned her big ass head all the way around to look at him and she dropped her pacifier out of her mouth then reached for him
"How about you come get your child"
He grabbed Kemoni off of my lap and grabbed Elena's phone off of the table "this the fight?"
He watched the video and started laughing as he did so
"Damn Elena you fucked that girl up. You would've had her from the beginning if she ain't snuck you like that"
"It wouldn't have been a fight if she hadn't touch me"
"Did she get in trouble too?"
Elena shrugged "I don't know and I don't care. Fuck her"
"Elllllll" I could hear Kaleb's voice yell along with his little feet slapping against the ground. He ran into the kitchen with his cup in his hand and he jumped onto my lap
"Kaleb! Hey tank"
He laid his head on me and put his cup in his mouth while he closed his eyes
"It's like that boy senses when you over here" Elena said with a laugh and I smiled looking down at my nephew.
"Cause he love his auntie El" I boasted while I played with the puffball Dana had in his hair. I asked her was she gonna ever cut his hair but she doesn't want to
"Dana need to cut that nigga hair" Kentrell mumbled
"Ion need to do shit" Dana said as she made her way into the kitchen. Kemoni smiled at Dana and started bouncing up and down in Kentrell's arm
"Whatchu smiling at lil girl?" She asked Kemoni and Kentrell looked at her
"Shit ion know"
She slapped him upside the head and he laughed
"How about this Kentrell. I'll cut Kaleb hair off if I get to shave Kemoni head bald"
The both of us quickly looked at her
"You ain't shaving shit off my baby head"
"I'll fuck you up. Touch my baby hair" Kentrell threatened her and she started cracking up, looking at Elena while she grabbed a cup out of the fridge. I never understood the purpose of her doing that but whatever
"Whatchu doing home? I thought you still had class?" She asked Elena while she started to drink out of the cup
"That show how good of a sister you are. Yo sister got kicked out of school" Kentrell responded
Dana choked on her drink a little and looked at Elena, seeming shocked "you what?"
"I got into a fight with Kd girlfriend and now I got expelled"
"Did you at least beat her ass?"
Elena nodded and Dana smiled "that's my sister. I'm proud of you"
"DANA!" I gave her a look and she shrugged
"I'm telling the truth. And ion know why y'all so stressed about her and Kd. They gone be right back together within the next two months. Watch"
"No. We're not" Elena shook her head and Kentrell smacked his lips
"Lie again."
"I'm serious. This was just too much and shit just went too far"
There was a knock on the door and Dana went to go answer it
"I'm surprised whoever it is ain't just walk in since that's all y'all hoes like to do"
"Yo momma a hoe" Kentrell responded to Dana and I slapped his arm
"What?"
"Nigga that's my momma too"
"Oh shit"
"How crazy is this" I could hear Dana say and a few seconds later she walked back into the kitchen with Kd behind her. Elena rolled her eyes and looked the other way
"Come on Kaleb. I need to go ahead and get you washed up for the day" Dana grabbed him from me and walked down the hall to her bedroom. I then looked up at Kentrell
"Yeah, we need to go ahead and go grocery shopping cause we ain't got food at the house"
"That can wait" Kentrell waved me off and looked at Elena and Kd with amusement. I stood up and grabbed the keys off the table then grabbed his arm
"Desean bring your ass"
He smacked his lips and followed me but before I exited the kitchen I looked at Elena and Kd
"Talk!"
She sighed and I gave her a smile before leaving
