"We do ha-" he froze his ears twitching atop his head and his eyes following the sounds. "Jin," he snapped and the jaguar looked up and hushed the others. The humans strained to listen, but everything sounded like natural nature noises. Even the crickets were chirping.
                          
"Joonie," Jin stood up grabbing the mouse and squirrel pushing them up the ladder the squirrel first came down in. 
                          
Namjoon turned to Jin and back at the humans "Hoseok take them," the fox walked over to the humans without hesitation. He grabbed them by their forearms gently tugging them to their feet. Jimin opened his mouth to protest, but one look from Namjoon silenced him. 
                          
Hoseok, not unkindly, pushed them up the ladder behind the other two who were on another level. Taehyung climbed up first gripping the coarse rope scratching his palms. He hurried and got to the net where Jungkook reached out and pulled him over making him land onto his lap facefirst. He sat up so fast he nearly fell off the net backward. Yoongi caught his arm dragging him over. 
                          
He watched Jimin being helped by Jungkook more carefully. His face was hot and his ears burned bright red. Taehyung looked down and saw the mouse's pink tail. It just looked so strange and hairless and squishy. He reached out a hand and wrapped his hand around the warm fleshy tail, it was strange how he could feel the muscle and bone through the skin.
                          
He realized what he was doing and looked up at the mouse who was watching him closely. "Sorry," he murmured releasing the soft bare tale. Yoongi watched him, his large circular ears flickering lightly before picking up his tale and folding it in his lap. "It's okay," he said.
                          
A moment later Jimin was crawling across everyone to Taehyung's lap where he settled resting his head on his chest. The net ropes digging uncomfortably into his butt, but he didn't dare say anything because of house serious Seokjin and Namjoon looked. Hoseok crawled back down and Jungkook pulled the rope ladder up.
                          
"Yoon who do you think it is?" the squirrel asked his giant tail fanning out behind him. "I don't know. Maybe Joonie's old clan," he shrugged wringing his hands on his tail. Jungkook looked down and took his naked tail in his hands playing with it "I really like this," he said squeezing it.
                          
They began to talk while Taehyung watched the other three pace before Namjoon crawled out of the tree followed by Jin. Hoseok stayed on the ground anxiously waiting. Taehyung flinched when he heard growls and shouts. Jimin whimpered pulling his husband closer. "It's okay, Joonie won't let anyone in," Jungkook assured them.
                          
"Then how did we get in?" Tae asked the hybrids. "I guess he wanted you to," Jungkook replied, "He wouldn't even let Jin throw you out for chacing Yoongi," the mouse narrowed his eyes again still offended that he was chased through the woods in the middle of the night.
                          
"He stole our clothes," Jimin pointed out holding a finger out towards him. The squirrel giggled "He just wanted to make our bed better," 
                          
"What about our clothes? Are we supposed to go around naked, we're not animals," Tae exclaimed quietly. "Shut-up," Yoongi snapped "We don't like to live like the humans. We were born this way and we are not perverts like you," Jungkook pouted resting his head on Yoongi's thighs covering his body with his tail. 
                          
"We're not perverts!" Jimin gasped "We just don't want to show any-"
                          
"Be quiet up there," the fox snapped from under them. The humans quieted down and Jimin shifted to straddling his husband's legs and resting his head on his shoulder. Taehyung rested his back against the net softly peppering kisses to his head.
                          
"Yoongi kiss me too," Jungkook grinned making the mouse roll his eyes, but anyone could see how the blood rushed to his ears making them red. He gave the squirrel a quick kiss to his cheek and ran his finger's through his hair catching a few knots that Seokjin missed. He started to groom him again while the growling and shouts got louder.
                          
What seemed like hours, but was merely only half an hour later Seokjin and Namjoon slid back into the hollow. Hoseok let out a loud breath embracing the two men in a hug. They talked in hushed whispers before they looked up at the four sitting in a net high above them. "Jungkook, help them down," Jin said catching the rope ladder and holding it steady so they could climb easier.
                          
Tae stumbled a few steps and righted himself waiting for Jimin who had started down the ladder with Yoongi right behind him. His husband's foot slipped and he barely caught himself holding on tightly to the rungs by his hands his feet kicking out looking for a foothold. Tae gasped getting ready to try to catch him. Yoongi climbed down around the human helping him hold on until he had his footing and let go. Jimin scampered down past Jin to Taehyung who caught him in his arms placing a kiss on his forehead.
                          
"We have to talk this out as mates," Namjoon said picking up the mouse from the ladder making him squeak. The wolf placed him carefully down on the bed where the rest of the animals sat. Jimin and Taehyung stayed by the ladder unsure what they were supposed to do.
                          
"Come here," Seokjin called to them smiling softly when Jimin made hesitant eye contact.
                          
"But we aren't mates," Taehyung protested.
                          
"Not yet," Namjoon grinned making the two humans feel uncomfortable, yet they found themselves drifting over to the circle of hybrids.
