"It's Yuna's," I said, taking a seat next to him

"It's Yuna's," I said, taking a seat next to him. "She's the best artist in the room." I proudly smiled.

"She probably took after you."

Once again, our eyes met. We sat still in the room, hearing the muffled screams of the children from the other side. My breathing intensified. His face looked surprisingly calmer. He majestically gazed at me with those dark irises, his expression softening as it prolongs. And as I stare at him a little bit longer, I took the chance to scan his face.

I never knew he had such plump lips. But they were dry. His cupid bow was beautifully shaped. His nose was perfectly sharp. He had pretty and long lashes. His face was unnecessarily pale. He looked too real and too good to exist. This kind of beauty is out of the world.

Something else caught my attention.

He had a scar below his right eye, near the corner. It looked like it has been there for a long time. I wonder how he got it. I guess no one is flawless after all. But even with that little imperfection, it doesn't change anything. He's still beautiful as ever.

"Has anyone ever told you staring is bad?" He chuckled.

"I-I think I know where the glue is." I mumbled, roughly sighing afterwards.

"A-ah. Yes. The glue." He stood up from where he sat and began searching again in Mrs. Han's place.

I dug into one of the boxes in one corner of the room and finally found a sticky tape. I grabbed it right away and hurriedly ran to Taeyong.

"I didn't find any glue but this will do." I avoided to look him in the eyes again.

"Have you told Jaehyun about what happened yesterday?" He said before getting the tape out of my hand.

For a moment, I froze. If I had told Jaehyun about that incident, he would go bunkers. He's going to all go crazy and protective. I know that because he made a promise. But I don't want him to act that way. It's inevitable.

"I will . . . Soon. . ."

Taeyong brows furrowed. "Why not now?"

"I will do it in my own pace. There's no reason to rush. Besides, father said he's going to take care of it. I know this will eventually be done and there's no need to fuss Jaehyun. He's a very busy man and I don't want to be such a burden to him. The weight on his shoulders are too much for him to handle, how much more If I make it even heavier for him."

Taeyong merely sighed and nodded. It was not the kind of response I expected from him. I actually thought he was going to insist. I guess this is better.

"The time is ticking. The days are passing. The winds are changing. It's a real-time problem you're dealing with. Gangsters? You think you could protect yourself once that happens again? If you tell your best friend about it, he will do what it takes to keep you safe. Don't you want to live?"
