3 ~ Birthday Plan

                                    

                                          
"I can't anymore you are a lost cause jaemin" you groaned in frustration.
                          
After you agreed to help haechan you told him when you were free after classes. Haechan had said he would come get you when you were done your classes and he had dragged you to a small cafe, supposedly his friend jaemin was here. 
                          
Well jaemin was here, and he was hopeless.
                          
"I though that was a good one" jaemin stated with a pout.
                          
"I almost threw up jaemin" haechan said from beside you and you nodded your head in agreement.
                          
"come on it was a good one, I just go up to renjun and be like 'are my shoelaces untied' then he replies with a 'no' THEN I say 'oh then why do I keep falling for you' it's golden"
                          
You face palmed at jaemins flirting and sighed. You knew some people would actually find his pick up lines cute but you knew renjun would not. You had only known him for two weeks but he was a very shy person. 
                          
"listen jaemin, renjun is shy. He would literally run away from you so fast if you came at him that strong" you explained and jaemin went from pouting to suddenly expressing a face of realization. 
                          
"woah so that's why he keeps avoiding me" you slammed your hand against the table and screeched "you already used those types of pick up lines on him"
                          
You were starting to wonder if you could even make them a couple, but your burning desire to have you title back from taeyong was fueling you right now. You needed this to happen, you wanted to help jaemin but you also finally wanted to win for once in you rivalry with taeyong, you wanted the matchmaker title back. 
                          
"alright basics. Renjun loves moomin I have seen him with moomin everything at his apartment-"
                          
"wait you've been to his apartment, are you trying to date renjun I SEE YOU" jaemin yelled and you sighed. Jaemin was starting to seem more and more hopeless. 
                          
"no I visit his apartment because we are FRIENDS also he has roommates that I visit too" jaemin sighed in relief from beside you and you groaned.
                          
"okay anyways, just strike up a conversation about the things he likes. Renjun is shy so be calm and when you mention some things he likes, like moomin. He also likes drawing, he carries this little sketchbook around and he shows it to me sometimes, but NO intense pick up lines" you scolded.
                          
Then you heard a small bell indication more people would be entering the cafe. You turned around curious to see who came in and your mouth flew open.

What the heck was he doing here. 
                          
He walked in with two other people and you simply tired to ignore them.
                          
"well do you-"
                          
"oh y/n is that you, I'm just helping someone over here. You know being matchmaker of the school and all" your fist clenched as you heard taeyongs words. It's like he wanted you to throw hands but you knew after you helped jaemin he would have to admit his defeat. So you simply gave him a fake smile "oh taeyong it's nice to see you"
                          
He was clearly surprised that you didn't glare at him but walked to another table anyways. You sighed but then turned to jaemin.
                          
"alright we should start tomorrow, the sooner the better. Do you have any idea where renjun would be, anywhere you could talk to him alone" you asked and jaemin smiled.
                          
"oh injunie loves to read at the library I've seen him a couple of times. He is super smart, such a cutie and-" 
                          
"alright I'm going to cut you off there because I have work soon and I can't listen to you talk about renjun forever. So here is the plan for tomorrow, you will go the library and simply talk about the things that renjun likes that I mentioned" jaemin nodded his head and you got up from your seat.
                          
"oh and NO pick up lines you'll scare him away" you hissed and haechan chuckled. Jaemin nodded his head vigorously while you left the cafe.

"dude you're almost late" you walked into the bookstore and sighed.
                          
"johhny our boss is so chill I could literally come three hours late and he would still pay me and not care" johnny chuckled as you quickly slipped on your uniform shirt over your t shirt to save time.
                          
"true, well whats on the schedule today" johnny asked and you sat down at the small reading area in the store. 
                          
"like usual, we chill until customers come"
                          
Johnny smiled and sat down on the small couch beside you. You and johnny were surprised when you first saw each other at the store as employees. 
                          
You had stated college and needed some extra cash so you got a job, you were very surprised to see johnny, taeyongs best friend. However, you two actually got along even thought he was friends with taeyong, you just refused to hang out with him when taeyong was around. 
                          
"you want to see something super attractive" you groaned and turned to johnny
                          
"show me another selfie of you and I will throw you out a window" johnny pouted and he turned his phone to you showing you what he pulled up.
                          
There was a selfie of taeyong, you hated that he was attractive but you would never admit it out loud, especially not to his best friend. Johnny would definitely tell taeyong as soon as you admitted he was good looking.
                          
"my eyes" you screamed dramatically and fell off the couch, you covered your eyes and rolled around on the floor and johnny was laughing. 
                          
"shut up he is attractive and you know it" but you continued you dramatic acting on the ground.
                          
"I seriously don't understand why you guys fight over a stupid title"
                          
"he started it johnny, I was fine at first but he had to be and ass about it. He started this war not me, but I'm going to finish it"
                          
"ugh you are literally both so aggressive aggressive it kills me"
                          
You flipped him off and he chuckled.
                          
"see aggressive aggressive"
                          
You heard a small ding and you smiled while you got off the ground and quickly walked to the front of the store to greet the customer, but then you froze and you felt your face blush slightly.
                          
"o-oh yukhei" you smiled and he smiled back.
                          
"y/n I didn't know you worked here, I'm here for renjuns birthday. I decided to get him a book" 
                          
"wait when is renjuns birthday"
                          
"oh like a month from now but I just want to be prepared"
                          
You decided to help yukhei look for a book as you thought about jaemin and renjun, You had another plan for them, the birthday plan.
                          
You chuckled at the lame name but continued your search for books with yukhei.
