Six months since my brother died and I still miss him every day. I know I hadn't talk to him in years, when he was in prison for five years and even after he was out we barely talked. Honestly, I felt bad for not talking to him much, because now I regret it more than anything. I have talked to Tara three times since I left Charming, and she's told me that Kenny and Ellie miss me, but Lyla is taking well enough care of them. I haven't really contacted her much, in fear she might get caught talking to me by Jax, but I talk to her when I feel it's essential.
Lori is nine months old now, and has just learned to crawl. She's teething as well, so my nights haven't been amazing. Most of the time, I take naps when both Whitney and Lori are sleeping now. Even if it's only an hour to an hour and a half, I still try to sleep for however long I am able. If I don't get enough sleep I become bitchy, and Marshall hates when I'm bitchy. We end up arguing and not talking for the night. Then one of us will apologize, or both, and everything will go back to normal.
Marshall is now one year sober, and today we're celebrating his one full year of sobriety, by throwing him a surprise party. The girls and I set it up, whilst he was at the studio. Today was one of their off days at school, so they didn't have to worry about missing any classes. They were excited to surprise Marshall, as was I, even though I kind of wished Proof was still around, so he could congratulate his best friend as well for such an amazing achievement.
"Girls, make sure you're ready when he gets home. We don't want one of you to miss him coming in." I said, and they nodded.
We had dressed semi-nicer than we normally did, making the party seem more official. Anyhow, about two hours later, I heard Marshall pull up outside of the house.
"Girls, your Dad is here." I stated, before they all stood in front of the banner.
Once he opened the door, we yelled "surprise." He grinned as soon as he seen us all, and seen his sobriety banner. He gave us all a hug and kiss, before we brought him into the kitchen.
"We have cake and pizza for you." Hailie said, and Marshall laughed.
"Thank you babies." He replied, and they all smiled.
"Mama's idea." Whitney commented, before Marshall looked over at me.
"Ya know, we should go ahead and get married." He said, and I looked at him confused.
"How? We haven't even set up a date, time, place-nothing." I replied, and he grinned.
"Let's elope. We can have 50 there as a witness, as well as the girls." He answered, and I nodded.
"When though?" I asked, and he bit his lip.
"Well, I was hoping today. Since I want today to be even more special. Every year we can celebrate our anniversary as well as another year of sobriety." Marshall stated, and I nodded with a smile.
"That sounds amazing." I answered, and he smirked.
"Good, so go get changed into dresses. I've got Ian booked for five and it's already noon." Marshall stated, and I gasped.
I ran up the stairs, before placing Lori in her crib. Luckily she was sleeping, so I took a quick shower. I blow-dried my hair, before curling it and doing my makeup. I then slid on a knee length white dress that was two layered. The first layer was solid white, whilst the second layer was see-through white lace. I then slipped on a pair of white flats, before walking back to Lori and getting her ready.
After a few hours of everyone running around and getting ready, we all piled into Marshall's truck and headed to where he had planned for this eloping to happen. Soon, we pulled up at a cute, small gazebo, before piling out of the car. When I looked over to see the guy who was going to elope us, I was shocked to see Ian Somerhalder. He was one of my favorite actors, and I couldn't believe Marshall had hired him.
Everyone soon took their places, before the small ceremony started. 50 and Dre had both decided to show up, so we had two witnesses for our marriage. Anyhow, after all the repeating of lines, we were soon able to say our own vows.
"Kori, after knowing you for over three years, and being able to count on you the whole time, I knew you were my one and only. You were there for me through thick and thin. You helped me through my crazy ass ex wife. You were there for me when my best friend died, and you believed in me when I was at my lowest. We have six beautiful daughters together, and I can not think of a better woman to be the mother of my children or my wife, the woman of my dreams." Marshall stated, as I wiped tears away.
"Wow, that was sweet. You think you can one up him?" Ian joked, causing me to laugh and stop shedding tears.
"Marshall, you're such an amazing man. I love you with all of my heart. You have been by my side since the day we met. I don't know what I'd do without you. I mean, you supported my crazy idea of moving across the country. You were there for me when my brother died. You even supported my crazy decision of moving all the way back across the country without even a second thought. You loved me enough to have another daughter, even though we had five already. I can't dream of a better man, father or man to be my husband." I stated, as he held a smile on my face.
"Well, with the power invested in me by the state of Michigan, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." Ian announced, before Marshall kissed me.
He held his arm around my waist, as we hugged our girls. Today was the best day of my life. I was happy to call him my husband, the father to my children, the man of my dreams...

A/N: I hope you guys liked this chapter. Yes, I know it's crazy to have them elope, but I loved the idea. Also, Ian does have a license to marry people, but I'm betting he's very expensive.
Love you guys!
