Shelby POV
I woke up in the morning already in my onesie and went down stairs to eat breakfast.
"Morning" aunt marry says
"Morning" i say as bite into my toast
"So, what's your plans for today" she asks
"Um, me and Meghan are going to have a movie day with the triplets"
"Sounds fun" she says
I nod
"So, I have to ask you a question"
"Okay" i say "should I be nervous"
"No , no it's just" she pauses for a second trying to figure out how to word her sentence "you don't have to go to school if you don't want to. I know with chemo and everything it would be hard for you and-"
"No, I want to go to school" I say cutting her off
"Well, okay, just don't push yourself to hard and know you can always take breaks from it if you need to"
"Okay, I will"
A hour later aunt marry drives me to Meghan's house to drop me off.
I knocked on her door. When she opened the door she was in her matching onesie.
"We're gonna have the best time ever" she say enthusiastically "come in we just ordered the pizza"
I walk into Meghan's living room and see the triplets.
"Hello"
"Hey" they all say
I walk over and sit on the couch next to Parker and Meghan
"Okay what are we watching" Meghan asks
"Pokémon" Liam shouts
"No thats lame" graser says "what about Star Wars"
"Shelby you pick the movie" Meghan says
"okay we're watching lion king"
"I knew it I don't even know why I asked"
The door bell rings
"I'll get it, I'll get it" graser shouts as he runs towards the door
"That's the fastest I've ever seen graser move" says Parker
Graser than comes back with two boxes a pizza and a wide grin on his face.
"Okay I'm starting the movie every one grab a slice"
"You want one" Parker asks as he reaches to grab a slice
I shake my head and continue to watch the movie
I was only half way through the movie when my eyes started become heavy.
"This kind of reminds me of our first time hanging out" I hear Parker say as I drift off to sleep
"Shelby"Meghan says while shaking me awake "good morning or night now"
I get up and look out side the window and it's already dark outside and the triplets were gone.
"The triplets left a minute ago"
"Oh" I say "I'm sorry I slept through the whole thing"
"No it's fine really" Meghan says
"That's the first time I've slept in a while"
"What do you mean" Meghan asked
"I haven't really slept at all since my dad came to visit and every thing"
Meghan winces
"Oh Shelby have you told your aunt yet"
"No"
"Maybe you should you can probably go back on your PTSD medication"
"No I really don't want I'll be fine I promise I just need some time really"
"Ok Shelby but promise me if it gets worst you'll talk to her"
"I promise" i say as a car honks outside "speaking of my aunt I have to go"
"Bye Shelby" Meghan's says as we hug and I leave
"Did you have fun" aunt marry asked as soon as I get in the car
"Yea"
"Good, oh and btw your chemo is at 5"
"Good so I'll still be able to go to school"
"Yea dr. Brown said the first day might be a little hard on you so no school on Tuesday at least"
"Ok I guess that's fine" I say as we arrive at home I go to the living room and turn on the tv not even attempting to fall asleep at all that night
