Chapter 7 (Tris POV)

                                    

                                          
The next day when my alarm clock goes off I slap my hand over it and decide that I should get up and get ready for school. I go and take a shower and put on my black skinny jeans, a purple tank top, my leather jacket, and my combact boots. I go back into the bathroom and put on my make-up that consists of: foundation, water-proof mascara, eyeliner, and my natural eyeshadow. Then I style my hair. I blow dry my hair and then I curl it so that it has bouncy curls. I pack my backpack and head downstairs. When I get down there, the gang is down there, as usual, and go into the kitchen and make my coffee. I grab a muffin and walked into the living room. "Morning Tris" "Morning" I sit down in between Four and Zeke on the couch. Four smiles at me and my heart leaps. I have liked Four since I met him. He is so cute!!!!! Oh my gosh, why am I acting like this. I need to calm down. "We are going to be late. Let's go." I get some ok's and we walk down to the bus stop. When the bus comes I get on it and sit in my seat and put my headphones in and listen to music. The song Halo from Beyoncé comes on and I smile. I ride the bus for the hour and finish my coffee then go to school. I go to first period that is Spanish. I walk in and sit down. The teacher comes in and I prepare myself for 47 minutes of boredom. Finally lunch comes around and I walk into the lunchroom and I see her. "Her" name is Gabby. She gets on my nerves every day. She is also so annoying! We get in fights every day. The fights haven't been like fist fights but it could get there soon if she keeps it up. She is sitting next to all of my friends. So if I want to sit somewhere where she isn't then I have to sit with my dauntless friends which I don't want to do because I hang out with them all the time. So I guess I will just have to go sit with Gabby and my friends. I say hey and she starts, "look who is here it is the girl that thinks she is Dauntless." I just roll my eyes. "At least I am actually in Dauntless and I'm not a Candor smart mouth" "please you are just jealous." "Of you why would I be jealous of you?" "Because I still have my parents." That set me off. She had no right to say that. It wasn't my moms fault that she died. And it wasn't my fault my dad killed himself so I didn't even think, I just jump across the table and punch her. Then I start to kick her. Soon my friends were trying to pull me off but I wouldn't. She was unconscious, but that didn't stop me. Uriah, Marlene, Lynn, Christina, and Will came and pulled me off of her. Let's just say, I got in some trouble. I didn't get expelled, I got 5 days of ISS. But I did have to go home early. (They have cars in this story to) Zeke came and got me soon after. He wasn't angry he was just confused. "Why?" he asks as soon as I got in the car and slammed the door. "She always gets on my nerves, and today she brought mom and dad into the conversation." I said. "What did she say about them?" He asks. Can't he just stay out of it? "It's nothing, can we just leave it alone." "No, we are not going to just drop it. This is important Tris, why can't you see that. This is to important for us to just drop it. You beat her unconscious. Why? What did she say about our parents?" He is yelling now and possibly getting mad. "Fine she said that I was jealous because she still had her parents. It's not mom's fault she is dead and it isn't my fault that dad killed himself and that was what she was implying!!" I yell getting angry just not at Zeke. He was silent. I have never yelled at him like that before and I felt kind of bad. "I'm sorry Zeke. I just lost my temper for a minute." "Let's just go home." "Are you mad?" I ask him. "No, I'm not." We leave and go home. When I get home I go up to my room and go into my walk in closet and shut the door and start crying. I should have killed Gabby when I had the chance. I'm done. I don't even know why I am living anymore. I go down to the chasm and just as I am about to jump I hear "TRIS!!!!!" I lose my balance...........
