He nodded at me, a serious look on his face. At least he believed me. "Which way did it go?" Jake asked, looking down the hallway. I nodded down the hall and motioned with my hand. "Down there." "Okay, let's check it out then. Maybe a worker came by or something." Sam said, hoisting the equipment bag onto his shoulder. Always the rational one. We started down the hall and Sam called out "Hello?" I hit his arm quickly. "Stop doing that!" "What?" he exclaimed, looking confused. "Calling out to the got damn demon or whatever it is! Jesus, man." I shook my head. "I wanna know if someone is there!" He said, throwing his hands up. "If someone is there and they want to hurt us or something, do you really think they're gonna answer, Sam? You're just letting them know where we are!" He held his hands up in surrender. "Okay, okay, Jesus. Calm down Colby. Why are you freaking out so bad?" I closed my eyes for a second and took a deep breath. "Because this place weirds me out bro. I know I saw something and it didn't feel...safe." Opening my eyes to meet his gaze, I saw that he was starting to believe me. Maybe he thought I was acting for the camera before, I don't know, but something changed in his eyes. "Alright brother. We'll figure it out. Just calm down." He clapped me on the shoulder. "Damn, I haven't seen you this freaked out since the tunnel in Griffins Park." Elton exclaimed, looking at me worriedly. "You sure you're okay?" I nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay. This place is just creepy, I guess." It was more than that but I didn't know how to explain it. Corey wasn't speaking much, which was weird. He just had a scared look on his face, and kept looking up and down the hallways. Jake was just being Jake, playing with a lighter. He kept striking it and running his fingers through the flame. We checked the whole area but didn't find anyone or anything. By then, I was starting to doubt myself. Maybe it was just a trick of the light or my eyes playing tricks on me. It wouldn't be the first time. So I'm just gonna let it go. I pulled out my phone and texted Y/N. I knew that she would be asleep, probably passed out drunk so I didn't expect a reply back. I just wanted to tell her that I missed her and I was thinking about her. Putting my phone back in my pocket, I turned towards Sam. "Okay, so what now? The basement?" "The DUNgeon." Jake spoke up, putting the lighter back in his pocket. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Okay, whatever, the dungeon. Can we go get that over with or are we gonna do that later?" "I'm actually getting hungry so let's go get something to eat and hang out, discuss the map out for the month, and maybe try to get over this jet lag. We have whole month to explore this place. The basement." Elton stopped because Jake had opened his mouth. "Sorry. THE DUNGEON isn't going anywhere." Jake chuckled. "It's a dungeon bro. The guide said it was a dungeon. I wonder if there are still, like, chains and stuff down there." He said, looking thoughtful. "Oh Jesus Christ Jake! Now you got me thinking about people being chained up and tortured down there. Come on, Let's go get something to eat and get out of here for a little while." Corey stalked down the stairs and we followed, waiting outside on our cab. We decided to get a rental car first, so that we wouldn't have to get waiting on rides and could leave when we wanted. Then we headed to the center of the small Irish town to find a place to eat. The scenery was absolutely amazing! I took multiple pictures, videos, Snaps, and Insta Stories. The other guys did too. The vibrant green hills were literally rolling, pastures in between them, with sheep and horses kept in by fences. The fog was building, and the air was cool and misty. I let my window down to get a better view and took a deep breath. The air was almost sweet. You couldn't find stuff like this in LA. We came upon a small cafe, that had a rustic look to it. They advertised Shepard's Pie. We knew what that was and the food on the picture looked good. Deciding to stop, Sam pulled into the closest spot and we piled out of the car. Going inside, we found a table big enough for us all and sat down, opening the menus. The place wasn't super busy but there was still a large crowd. We started talking about what I saw and what we should do when we did check the dungeon. An older man, sitting at the table next to us, overheard us. "Did you say that you were staying at Black Creek Castle?" He interrupted. We all looked over to him and Elton nodded. "Yeah, why?" The man shook his head, swinging it from side to side, running a hand through his bushy beard. "You boys shouldn't be there. Not overnight. Definitely not for a month. That place is....dangerous." "Dangerous how?" Sam asked. He was leaning towards the man, like he was very interested in what he had to say. "Can I film you?" he asked him. The man agreed and I pulled the camera out of the bag, setting it up, so that I could film Sam talking to him. "Okay, we're good." I told Sam. "So how is this place dangerous?" The man cleared his throat and looked directly into the camera. "Years ago, the rooms used to be rented out to travelers as a tourist attraction. At first, everything was fine, except for people claiming to see or hear things.
