Armin slowly sat up, he could feel his whole body shivered at the lingering dominant scent of his friend. Peeking at the surroundings, he found himself on the entrance of the lab. His car was mess and the guards were all cowering on the corners in fear.

When they reached the city, Eren went to rage mode. He insisted on driving and threw Armin at the back seat then, after what it felt like 10 minutes of driving- more like flying on the high way, Eren crashed the car on the lab.

Panicking, Armin got off the ruined car and down to the underground. He went straight to the office, grabbing the tranquilizer gun, he loaded it for his own safety. Eren was on rampage, it was not normal.

Armin ran down to the underground, with his gun ready to aim and shoot if he was either encountered by a hostile Omega or a raging Alpha.

But he didn't expect to encounter his boss first.

"Erwin! I mean! Sir!" Armin stood stiffly, hiding the gun behind him. He wanted to pretend that he saw nothing but he failed to ogle over his "Captain America" boss.

Erwin was wearing shorts, a floral shirt, a straw hat paired with tinted sun glasses.

"Armin." Erwin acknowledged.

"Ahhhh, sir. Did you saw my friend? He works here and..." Armin trailed off as he watched his boss placed his palm on his face and shook his head.

Erwin sighed, picking up his luggage that was next to him, he approached the small blonde and gave him a piece of paper. Then he walked out like a protagonist walking away from an explosion.

Armin stared back at him, mouth hanging in shock. Shaking his head, he looked down at the paper that his boss gave to him. It was a note with letters that seemed like it was cut from a magazine and glitter?

It simply said: Going on a vacation! It's fun!

Armin's brain restarted. Completely confused on what just happened.

"Armin?"

The blonde Omega snapped towards the voice, he found his best friend looking at him like he had grown two heads.

"If you're looking for Erwin, he left for a vacation." Eren said casually.

Armin was like a gaping fishing as he stared at his friend. Eren looked calm, completely calm and seems like he was not faze with his rage earlier. He also had a dress on his hand.

"Well, yeah. I saw him got out... Ah, are you okay now?" He asked carefully.

Eren sighed in defeat, he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "Yeah, and I'm so sorry. I was being so aggressive to you."

"Yeah, your heavy scent was still rafting on the entrance, the guards were scared, they wet their pants!"

"I'm really sorry, I didn't mean it. I didn't know what came over me."

"Really?" Armin asked curiously.

"Levi shot me."

"What?!"

"Yeah, with one of those tranquilizer gun," he pointed at Armin's hand.

"That bad?" Armin hardly believed it. Yes, he exprienced Eren in rage for half an hour of driving with the said Alpha. But he didn't know the brunette could be more in great rage than that.

"Petra told me I was going for Erwin's head..." Eren cringed, simply couldn't picture himself doing it. but he believe Petra, after she showed him the survilance cameras as proof.

"Then Levi came and shot you?"

"Yeah.... Then when I woke up, Erwin said that he's not dealing with me too and he's going on a vacation?" Eren didn't understand the lasf one but the huge blonde did looked like he was done taking care of kids.

"And where's Levi?"

"In the kitchen, drinking tea with Petra."

"Oh..."

"I'm going to wash his dress, I'll be right back.

"Okay..." Armin watched as Eren go. Tons of questions lingering on his head but he couldn't seem to voice it out or simply find a solution.

Eren noted that he was completely out of it when he was in rage mode then. Maybe the reason why the brunette was so pissed was because of his bond with Levi? It could be Levi's abilities that had affected Eren's actions? For his friend's sake, Armin would conduct further research on it.

When he went to the kitchen, Levi was already enjoying his fourth cup while Petra casually talking about puppies and how much she wanted to adopt one. The raven looked interested as the female blonde showed him some pictures of puppies and kittens ready for adoption.

Armin just shook his head, leaving the two in their conversations and proceeded to Hange's office. He wasn't able to open the door fully because the room was full of heavy boxes. Squeezing himself in, Armin managed to enter. He reach the drawers.

The metal drawers screeched as he pulled them open. Taking all the files, Armin pushed some of the boxes on the side, so he could sit on the floor and studied the files. Hours past, the blonde Omega had no progress on the amount of files he managed to skim.

"Armin? Are you in there?" Eren's voice came from the crack on the door.

"Yeah, just researching." Armin called out.

"Petra made food in the kitchen, in case you're hungry."

"Thanks, I'll be out soon."

"Okay, because I'll be taking Levi home now."

"Sure, be safe!"

Hours stretched and still no progress, all he got was nothing but records and information about the subjects that Armin already knew. Digging further on the lower drawers, he was able to pull out old brown files. Careful not rip the fragile papers, he continued his research.

"What do we have here?" He hummed.

The pages were old, written in the familiar font of typewriter.

"Oh, my God!" Armin exclaimed. Finally, he found the files that he was searching for.

The files were about the early development of the fighting machines, detailed version of experimentations and process they went through. And how they finally produced the first fighting machine.

Armin's excitement blooms as he continued to the next page, he wanted to know who was the first fighting machine and if the said fighting machine was still in the lab. Maybe it could be Levi? Could it be that, this might be the reason why the raven was so different.

Armin was bouncing on his spot, excited to see if his intuition was correct. If so, then maybe he could find a way to save Levi and Eren's relationship.

Blue eyes widen at the unexpected words that were typed on the paper. His breath hitched, his head hurts but more importantly, his heart ache.

The first subject was not Levi, but it was Eren Yeager.
