Chappie 4 ~He's Back~

                                    

                                          
Past:
                          
"Why?" I exclaimed  as my eyesight becomes blurry.
                          
"I'm so--" Louis started but I cut him off.
                          
"NO! You promised me! You said you'll never leave me! You promised...." I whispered the last part.
                          
Tears are now streaming down my face and my loud sobs echoed my room.
                          
"Lex, let me ex---" he tried but I cut him off again.
                          
"Louis, there's no need for a explanation because you already made it clear. You want us to be atrangers? Fine! But promise me one thing." I said, surprisingly calm.
                          
Silence took over the line.
                          
His words almost tore my heart apart. But, If that's what he wants then fine.
                          
"What is it?" he said quietly
                          
I gulped. "Never speak to me. Don't bother calling, I won't answer it and lastly.." I took a deep breath, a lump on my throat going up again.
                          
"Forget that you had a best friend." I said and hung up. My sobs become more louder and my heart pained like it was stabbed.
                          
He's not my best friend anymore.
                          
He left me.

My eyes widened.
                          
No.
                          
This is all a dream.
                          
I always dreamed of him coming back but it always turns to nightmares.
                          
I'll wake up. 
                          
I pinched my arm.
                          
But he didn't disappear.
                          
He stays there sitting, looking at me with those eyes that can always pierce through my soul every time I look at them.
                          
I snapped out as I felt two warm hands on each of mine.
                          
I looked at Aby and Loraine. They're looking at me with worried eyes.
                          
Aby is oblivious of the fact that the curly haired guy is staring, more like gawking at her. And Loraine is obviously stealing glances at the blonde haired guy, also staring at her lovingly.
                          
I would've laugh at the situation but I couldn't. I was too shock by his visit.
                          
What the hell is he doing here? To make me remember the pain of losing my best friend? After all this time, why now? Too many questions were swirling in my head.
                          
I realized everyone was looking at me. I plastered a fake smile on my face.
                          
"I'm so sorry. I tend to space out." I said. I glance at Aby and Loraine to see them with raised eyebrows that says 'Are you really fine?' Yes, me and the girls have special telepathy thingy.
                          
I send them a quick look that says 'I’m-Fine'.
                          
Silence took over.
                          
This is gonna be a long Dinner.

Aby's POV
                          
The woman who introduced herself as Johanna Tomlinson, cleared her throat.
                          
"So Alexis, who are this beautiful young ladies with you? Because it looks like somebody already has an eye on them." She said with a grin. The blonde dude and curly haired guy looked away. Huh? I looked at her with confusion filling my eyes.
                          
"Oblivious idiot..." Alexis muttered with a snicker at us. Loraine nodded, agreeing with her. I scrunched up my eyebrows. What the hell are they talking about?
                          
Shrugging the question, Loraine nudged me signaling me to go first.
                          
I gulped. "Hi. I'm Abigail Collins. You can call me Aby. I’m Aj's Best friend, Nice to meet you." I said with a sweet smile. Gotta make a good impression.
                          
"Hello! I'm Loraine Jansen, You can call me Loraine or anything you want just not bad ones. I’m also Aj's Best friend, Nice to meet you!" She said cheerfully. I chuckled. She's always like that ever since we were little.
                          
I noticed Alexis is staring at her lap, stealing wary glances at someone. I followed on what she's looking at. It was Louis. He's also staring at her, his eyes fill with frustration, sadness and… loneliness? I know the whole story. He wanted nothing to do with her. I narrowed my eyes at him.
                          
"Boys, why don't you introduce yourselves?" Mrs. Tomlinson said with a smile.
                          
"I'm Liam." He said. He looks like the responsible one. He’s cute, but I heard he has a Girlfriend.
                          
"I'm N-Niall." He stuttered, glancing at someone. I followed his gaze in the corner of my eye to see him glancing at Loraine who's smiling with a tint of pink on her cheeks, obvious of the fact that Niall is looking at her.
                          
"I'm Harry." He said with a cheeky smile. He looks absolutely handsome. Curly hair, green eyes and… Ugh! Dimples! God, He's hot. I looked away to see him grinning at me, seeing that I checked him out.
                          
"I'm Zayn." He said. Shy huh? I smiled warmly at him, wanting him to be comfortable. He returned the gesture. Looks like I'm gonna have a new big brother figure.
                          
I narrowed my eyes at the last boy.
                          
"I'm Louis." He said quietly, looking at his lap as if he's ashamed. Well he should be. After all, he left my best friend for fame.
                          
"Nice to meet you." We murmured. Outside I was calm but inside I was furious. How dare he come back?! Doesn’t he know how much pain our best friend felt?
                          
I was always the calm one but seeing him make me want to scream in frustration and lecture him so that he can also be pained by my words. Me and Loraine almost lost our best friend because of him.

Alexis’ POV
                          
I was eating my food quietly. Aby was tapping on her phone and Loraine was eating too but also looking at Niall? I think that's his name....
                          
"Alexis, Loraine, Aby?" Mom said. "Yes?" We replied.
                          
"Johanna wants to tell you something. Well, I already agreed on it." she said.
                          
Mrs. Tomlinson took a deep breath and said
                          
"Well, some of my friends are staying over summer and there's not enough room. Your Mom suggested something to me. Since you’re staying at your beach house,”  We nodded. “I think you should know about this..."
                          
We leaned in, waiting.
                          
"The boys will stay with you at the beach house."
