Kim Haneul, Taehyung's mother greeted them warmly, her eyes lighted up when she saw Taehyung was holding Yura's hand when they arrived at her doorstep. She has been waiting for this day to come and when Taehyung called her today, telling he is coming with a surprise—she didn't expect this.
"I think I need a lot to catch up", she said as she ushered them in.
Haneul went straight to the kitchen dragging Yura with her, prepping for their lunch but then she realized she forgot to buy several ingredients. She quickly called for Taehyung and asked him to run to the convenience store to get them. Taehyung was nagging insisting that Yura should tag along but his mother ended all his suggestions. So he end up dragging himself to the store alone.
"Now that we are alone. I am so glad you look so much better now", she looks Yura, smiling warmly as she joins her at the dining table. "Are you happy?"
"That's a tough question"
"I can see that you're genuinely happy. And my love, there is nothing else I could ask for", reaching for Yura's hands, Haneul holds both of her hands into her as she looks into her eyes.
"I am glad this turned out alright. And I am glad he came to find you. Oh god, I am so relieved that both of you reconcile. You can't imagine how heavy my heart was when I heard that you left that day. Taehyung was lost and I—"
"Mother, I am fine. I am truly fine. It's going to take some time to get accustom to this but...I am better"
"Just tell me if he breaks your heart. I'll break his bones"; she winks before bursting into laughter.

Yura and Haneul spent their time together in the kitchen, baking and cooking all sort of food they can think of. Haneul loves to cook and so does Yura. It has been hours and they yet to come out of the kitchen. Annoyed and feeling left out, Taehyung peeks into the kitchen, silently watching Yura and her mother. Their mother.
It almost 8 pm and they just had dinner, and yet, they're still cooking?
"Are you going to sleep in the kitchen?", he pouts as he speaks

"Look who's here", Haneul teases. "We are almost done. Cookies are done so go wait at the living room. We are bringing some for you"
Taehyung's eyes shifted to Yura whom have her hair tied in a high bun, a white apron around her waist, wiping the counter top of the kitchen. She is too busy doing her work not realizing he has been watching her from the door frame.
"Is my wife forgetting she has a husband rotting in the living room?", he uttered loudly, wanting Yura to acknowledge his presence.
Turning around when she heard that, Taehyung winks at her before smirking but then Haneul quickly shooed him away, asking him to leave the kitchen.
